Spyro The Dragon was released in 1998 and recently had a remastered version released as part of Spyro: Reignited Trilogy in 2018. Ever since then, the Blue Thieves have been a massive source of irritation and frustration in the games.
However, there is no need to be frustrated any longer! If you follow this guide on where to find them and the tips on catching the thieves quickly, you’re going to have a much easier game experience. This guide is solely focusing on the 12 Blue Egg Thieves.
Stone Hill - Artisan World
Stone Hill is one of the first levels in the game and arguably the easiest one.
Where To Find The Blue Egg Thief In Stone Hill
After you have explored the level for a while you will come across an area filled with rams and shepherds.
In the center of that area is a tower that has a magic tornado at the center of it. Travel up this and rescue Gildas for a useful tip on gliding.
Glide across from the tower to the large green area.
Charge around to the right, making sure to stay in the middle of the green area. (You can choose to go left but it’s an easier route to get the thief from the right)
- After charging for a bit the thief will show up.

- Charge after the thief. Keep to the inner area of the greenery close to the towers. Be careful not to hit the towers or you will lose valuable speed!
Eventually, you will catch up to the thief. The best way to dispose of this one is to charge him.
Town Square - Artisan World

To your right, there will be a set of steps, climb these.
Then jump onto the platform directly in front of you.
Turn back around so that you are facing back down the stairs.
Jump and hit glide at the top of your jump, once you’re past the tower direct your glide directly to the right.

- Once you jump up to the slightly higher platform the thief will be there. Charge after him. After you pass through the corridor he will drop down to the lower area of Town Square. The easiest way to get to him is to jump down in the same place.

Peace Keepers - Peace Keepers
Where To Find The Blue Egg Thief In Peace Keepers
This thief is actually located within the main area of the homeworld Peace Keepers. Follow the map around until you see Doctor Shemp’s portal.
Just before this is a Gnorc dressed in blue that will be using a cannon. Flame him and then take over the cannon.
Stand at the lower end of the cannon and walk into it to turn the cannon towards the large target on a massive rock.
Flame that end of the cannon and the cannon will shoot at the target, destroying the rock. You can now use this as a platform to get to the other side of the valley.
Once on the other side, you will see a rock that looks like an arch.
Look straight at this then look to your left, you will see a small area with a dragon statue in it.
Go over there and the thief will be chilling on the other side of a purple pool.
Do not fall in!
