Despite limitations placed on it by the Coronavirus pandemic, South Korean baseball games have not stopped. Understandably, though, guests were not allowed to attend as filling the stadium would violate NHS guidelines, which meant that most games were played to empty stands. Now the stands are instead filled with plushies from franchises like Pokemon, Disney, and more.

Images show these cute plushies filling up the stands in various positions, indicating that their location changes in between games. This likely serves as a boost to morale to the athletes themselves as well as a way for stadium staff to enjoy themselves. Of course, this isn’t just a Pokemon stadium.

Other recognizable characters make appearances as well, including Spongebob Squarepants, Winnie the Pooh, and Stitch. Eagle-eyed readers could no doubt find more of their favorite characters in the photos, as there are quite a few that are hard to see.

In the face of adversity, people all around the world have proved that keeping a lighthearted attitude and remembering to keep having fun in safe and creative ways despite the coronavirus is important, and this serves as a reminder of those simple truths. It seems that the plushie armada will only keep growing until fans return to the stadium.
