To recap

The RX100 rarely puts a foot wrong. It’s truly pocketable, has cracking image quality despite the high resolution, a great wide-aperture lens and a decent LCD screen. However its £550 asking price is a lot, and the lack of any viewfinder (or provisions to add one later) may cause some to turn their noses up. That point and minor quibbles aside and the RX100 is one exceptional high-end compact.
