Mizkif and his chat officially witnessed the act of taking Deepfake too far when a fan turned the Twitch streamer into an alarmingly accurate version of Sam Smith.

As is now customary of Twitch’s top streamers, seeing what fans have been up to on their own subreddit is a frequent routine. Most Redditors post some pretty (intentionally or not) cringe content, but every now and then there is a gold nugget in the batch. This was one of those times, as the Deepfake created between Mizkif and Sam Smith is good… too good.

“I’m gorgeous… what the hell? I gotta get that coat.” Mizkif himself was completely convinced by the Deepfake. He laughed throughout the entire clip, expressing disbelief in how well his face worked with Smith’s body and mannerisms. “The only thing you can tell is my hairline is not that bad, but other than that I look just like the guy.”

His audience was just as enamored with the odd sight, with comments ranging from “THIS S***T’S SO GOOD” to “KILL IT.” In part, the clip is pretty epic. A dreamy version of Mizkif parades around through a high-quality music video, leading a choir in an inspiring chorus of Smith’s “Stay With Me.” It’s almost as if an alternate universe version of Mizkif was destined to be a musical icon. In contrast, the clip is also kind of freaky. Mizkif is a goofy streamer by nature, so seeing him sing a dramatic ballad while staring directly into the camera is a bit unsettling. When the clip got around to Reddit, users evidently felt that dichotomy.

Aside from transforming into musical pop stars on Reddit, Mizkif has continued to do what he does best on Twitch. Lately, he earned some attention for displaying the entire range of human emotions in under 10 seconds; this was caused by him suffering a humiliating death during a Super Mario 64 speedrun. Because he began the rainbow of human emotions with anger, Maya instantly made a break for it.

He’s also continued to cement his reputation as a generous person, recently hosting a small streamer which prompted Shroud to gift 10 subs in the chat. Never change, Mizkif.
