This Smash Bros. fan spent over 400 hours recreating every Ultimate character in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
What incredible talent. What notable dedication. What astounding ability to make a baseball cap look like almost any Pokémon imaginable. Kudos to you, Reddit user DJ-Dez, for making this amazing collage of Smash Bros. costumes in New Horizons.
According to DJ-Dez, this collection of 80 costumes took over 400 hours to complete. Almost every single one of them features a custom design of some sort, although a few such as Kirby and Mr. Game & Watch simply use in-game items to approximate their characters. It’s really hard to make a design that looks like Kirby, given the fact he’s just a pink blob.
Some of these designs are truly exceptional, like Link, Falco, and Greninja. The use of stylized baseball caps while tilting that character’s head down is just perfect. Ness and Lucas are likely the best imitations here as New Horizons avatars already look a lot like both characters as they’re portrayed in Super Smash Bros.
Isabelle, though, looks so good you’d figure she was a clone.
