Deck-building is one of the few genres that works as well on mobile as it does on consoles and PC, so it only made sense that the popular card battler Slay the Spire would eventually make its way to phones and tablets. Now, more than a year after the game’s release on PC, we’re finally going to find out something about the game’s upcoming mobile port.

According to Anthony Giovannetti, the co-founder of Slay the Spire developer Mega Crit Games, they’ll be announcing information about t mobile port sometime during the month of June.

Now, an announcement about a future announcement isn’t much to go on. But with a game that has scratched a niche itch as well as Slay the Spire did, fans are going to hang on the developers’ every word when it comes to the chance to play the game on their phones.

It’s unclear what the content of the announcement will be, though it would likely include at least a rough idea of its release date.

Of course, if the idea of a card-based dungeon crawler catches your eye, and you don’t want to wait for a mobile port, the game’s also available on Steam, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
