However, players actually get a choice between destroying and joining the Dark Brotherhood if they decide to kill Astrid when she initially kidnaps the Dragonborn in the abandoned shack. The player can then travel to Dragon Bridge and talk to the Penitus Oculatus’ Commander Maro, and he will allow the player to destroy the Dark Brotherhood for a reward of 3,000 gold.
7 The Lylvieve Family Is Constantly Bothered By The Guards
The Lylvieve family owns the Inn in Dragon Bridge, and they are harassed by guards often because they refuse to give the guards free food and free rooms.
The guards of Skyrim are not especially noble people, but this situation just goes to show players how rude they can be when they don’t get their way. There are only nine people that live in Dragon Bridge that are named NPCs, and as such, this town is known for its small-scale and meager wealth.
Dragon Bridge is only home to a handful of families, and there are unfortunately very few quests that can be found in this town. Some players don’t realize just how small Dragon Bridge is in terms of its civilian population, but it is actually one of the smallest towns in the entire game.
3 The Civil War Of Skyrim Is A Major Threat To Dragon Bridge
Some players may not think about Dragon Bridge too much when they initially encounter this small town; however, it is actually under constant threat of being collateral damage in the Civil War.
This is true for a few reasons, the most prominent one being that it is near both Markarth and Solitude, which allows soldiers to travel nearby and potentially even wage war on the grounds of the town. Dragon Bridge should train to defend itself because there may come a day where the Civil War will find its way to their small slice of Skyrim.
2 Dragon Bridge Is Located Inside Of Haffingar Hold
Haffingar Hold is well-known for being home to the city of Solitude, which is also the capital of Skyrim. Since Dragon Bridge is so close to multiple holds, some players may not realize which hold it is actually a part of officially.
Dragon Bridge is part of Haffingar Hold, which means that it is also under the protection of the Imperial Empire and General Tullius himself if the Stormcloaks attack.
1 It Is Possible That Dragon Bridge Was Build From Dragon Remains
Some fans theorize that the Dragon Bridge itself was built out of remains of dragons as opposed to stone or some other material. This is because of the dragon burial grounds that are found around Skyrim, and it makes quite a bit of sense when players start to think about it.
It fits with Nord tradition to use dragon bone remains to build a bridge this powerful, and it definitely seems as though it is likely that the bridge itself was built using dragon remains.
