The Sims 4 is missing a few features which franchise veterans really want. One of the most noticeable is body hair. While you can add limited facial hair to male sims, other body hair choices are not currently in the game. This means that every sim has smooth hairless skin, regardless of their age.
For some players, the unrealistic nature of this means that they turn to CC and mods to fill in the gaps. There are some mods that have body hair as part of the mod but most is added with custom content. Here we’ve pulled together some custom content that aims to replicate authentic body hair to make your sims more realistic.
10 Evie Eyebrows By KatVerseCC
Now we know eyebrows aren’t strictly classed as body hair generally but we wanted to include these Evie eyebrows from KatVerse CC. You can find them over on TSR in a range of swatches.
They feel more realistic than many in-game options and better match other body hair options. They are also usable from teen to elder and on male or female sims, making them incredibly versatile. For neat brows that match your other CC, these are a great choice.
9 Body Hair Update 1.4 By Castor Sims
This choice is a little out of left field, being from the self-proclaimed sh**ty custom content creator Castor Sims. While the arm hair, in particular, may not be to everyone’s taste the chest hair looks great with those in-game tops.

8 Body Hair Updated By Erling
This body hair has recently been updated to work with other mods. There are several different versions and each one comes in all 18 EA hair color swatches. While we are entirely unsure why you’d want pink body hair, the color matching is useful nonetheless.
You can find the CC for download on Erling1974’s Tumblr and there are also links to the other mods that are compatible with it.
7 Realistic Body Hair By Slums
This realistic body hair by Slums adds hair to the chest, legs, arms, and armpits of your sims and can be found in the tattoos and gloves categories. It comes in just one thickness but does include texture not often seen.
There are 3 swatches, black, brown, and ginger. All can be downloaded from Slums Tumblr. You will also find a variety of other CC on the site.
6 Female Body Hair By ForeverBlueSim
This is an adjustment of existing content to make it fit female sims and it works well. It comes in 4 colors, black, brown, red and blonde, and includes arm, leg, and armpit hair.
You’ll find the download via love4sims4 Tumblr. In create-a-sim, you’ll find the content in the tattoo category and can apply it from there.
5 Natural Hairy Look By PinkZombieCupCakes
This detailed body hair is available for sims from young adults and upwards. The color is designed to complement a variety of skin tones. It was created by TSR featured artist PinkZombiecupcakes and is available on their TSR Page.
You’ll also find a huge amount of other equally well-crafted CC on their page, which is populated with over 1000 creations in total and boasts over 64 million downloads, so you know you are getting quality.
4 LLS Body Hair V4 By Xldsims
This body hair is a recolor to make Luumia’s hair, which appears further up on this list, better match the EA hair colors. Adding in-game swatches gives more variety but this recolor does not use the latest version of Luumia’s content.
Regardless, it’s well worth checking out this content on Xldsims Tumblr. It provides a lot of options for anyone who would prefer their body hair content to be maxis match in terms of coloring.
3 WM The Sims 4 Body Hair 01 By S-Club
This body hair content from S-Club can be found on their TSR Page. It comes with 3 color choices and offers a light but realistic hair for your sims.
There are also other body hair options as well as many custom creations for eyebrows, facial hair, and other tweaks you can make to add realism to your sims.
2 Female Armpit Hair By Forest_Wanderer
This content from forest_wanderer adds natural armpit hair to female sims. You can find the details on ModTheSims but make sure you read the instructions as it requires a separate mesh.
The content reuses Lumialover’s creation and adapts it for female sims but there are a couple of conflicts so make sure you check how to resolve these if you are using both lots of content.
1 Body Hair V5 By Luumia Sims
If you only download one lot of body hair then this pack from LuumiaSims is the one you want. It has a straight/wavy option in 10 different levels of density and a curly option with 5 options for thickness.
There are also 5 realistic swatches, black (jet), dark brown (Coffee), light brown (Cocoa), ginger (Flame), and blonde (Platinum). It includes full-body coverage and can be found on Luumia’s website. In-game you’ll find the textures in the tattoo section.
