Shadow Warrior has always been about guns, and Shadow Warrior 3 will be no exception based on the latest weapon showcase trailer. Four beautifully crafted armaments reveal just the sort of mayhem that Lo Wang will be able to dish out when Shadow Warrior 3 arrives later this year.

First up, the Crimson Bull, so named because it’s red and has a pair of extensions on the barrel that look a lot like a bull’s horns. Although the Crimson Bull appears to be a grenade launch, the horns operate much like the limbs of a crossbow, making it seem like there’s a tension launcher rather than an explosive propellant.

The Crimson Bull’s Sucker Punch Upgrade, however, turns it into a homing projectile that finds the nearest target and blows it to smithereens.

Next up is the Outlaw, an ornate revolver that seems to allow Lo Wang to fan the hammer like the most accomplished cowboy. It’s a little out of place for Neo Japan, but a little absurdity has never stopped a franchise like Shadow Warrior.

The Igniter Upgrade seems to give the Outlaw a damage over time effect by setting enemies on fire, while the Poppin’ Heads Upgrade does pretty much what it says–all headshots are instantly fatal due to an exploded cranium.

The Sidekick submachine gun is the only returning weapon from Shadow Warrior 2, but now there are two of ’em and they have nunchucks for magazines. Note the mags are connected by a chain and the gun reloads by swinging them like a certain ninja turtle. The Paralyzer Upgrade shocks enemies caught in the bullet spray.

And finally, the Dragontail is a sword. It cuts things. That’s really all you need to know about it.

There will certainly be more weapons to find in Shadow Warrior 3, as the previous trailer revealed a shotgun, a hammer, and some sort of dragon-themed railgun. We’ll find out more leading up to the game’s release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this year.
