The Seoul Dynasty finally made their debut in 2020 to stunning results. It had been a long time coming for the Dynasty that had their homestand cancelled early in the season due to the virus outbreak and then relocated the team to Los Angeles after South Korea was getting it hard by the whole thing.
Everything has shifted now and it looks like South Korea is on its way to recovering while the outbreak in the United States is in full swing. Because of this, the Dynasty have made the decision to relocate back to Korea and will be absent for the next couple of weeks as the team gets settled back home.
The Seoul Dynasty are the third team to relocate back to Korea following health concerns about the COVID-19 outbreak in North America. The Vancouver Titans and London Spitfire made the announcement last week and are getting settled to begin play again. The interesting thing to note from all this is the way the online matches are set up. The league split the teams into three regions (Asia, West Coast, East Coast) which caused disparity in the amount of teams for each. Asia only had four teams when the league made the decision–the four Chinese teams, but since have added Vancouver, London and now Seoul. This positions the Asian region as arguably the strongest in the entire league and with the possibility of New York relocating as well, it should be exciting to see how the matches play out going forward.
