Sea of Thieves will officially be making its way onto Steam on June 3rd. The multiplayer adventure game taking place on the high seas was previously only available on Windows 10 and Xbox One, until now.

The game, from developer Rare, puts players in the role of a fearsome pirate, voyaging around the world and completing daring tasks with one goal in mind—become a legend. Sea of Thieves features co-op elements and an open world format, which means players can travel the world alongside their friends.

This Steam release is a bit of a mixed bag of good and bad news. One piece of the good news is obvious, Sea of Thieves is more accessible to gamers of all kinds to try. The bad news is that having a Windows 10 copy of the game won’t act as a free voucher to get it on Steam as well. Sea of Thieves on Steam will be a separate edition, and therefore a separate purchase. Thanks to Xbox Live, cross-play is possible between the Steam and Windows 10 versions. Another plus, for people switching from Windows 10 to Steam their progress will be carried over.

Be sure to look for Sea of Thieves coming ashore in the next two weeks for just $39.99.
