9 Kill Skeletons To Level Up The Plunder Pass Quickly
The Plunder Pass is a battle pass system with both a free and paid version that grant the player 100 tiers of rewards, including cool ship cosmetics, outfits, and currencies.
It takes a long time to level the Plunder Pass to 100, but it can be done quickly by killing skeletons on islands, forts, and skeleton ships. Skeletons grant a surprising amount of reputation when they are killed, and this will level up your Plunder Pass faster than any other method. It is also very easy as well.
8 Purchase Supply Crates From The Merchant Alliance To Speed Up Supply Collecting
Supply Crates can now be purchased from the Merchant Alliance, and they are incredibly helpful when loading into a new server and sailing on a new ship. You can purchase wood crates, cannonball crates, and fruit crates.
All of these items are essential for surviving on the seas, and buying these crates makes stocking up on supplies much faster than it would otherwise be by looting barrels slowly.
7 Check The Pirate Emporium Regularly For Free Items
Occasionally, the Pirate Emporium offers free items that you can claim for a specific amount of time. Usually, a free emote is offered that you can claim without any credits.
Although these free items aren’t anything groundbreaking, collecting new emotes can help you communicate with your teammates when you aren’t talking with them. Make sure to check the Pirate Emporium weekly for free items.
6 Sneak Onto An Enemy’s Ship Using The Barrel Disguise Emote
The barrel disguise emote is a new emote in season 2 that can be used to transform into a regular-looking barrel. You can use this emote to hide on enemy ships and prepare for combat or steal their loot. This emote is mostly useful during PVP combat.
The barrel disguise is incredibly useful, and it adds a lot of fun to Sea Of Thieves in a very unique way. Everybody has access to the barrel emote in season 2 by unlocking it in the plunder pass, so watch out for barrels that look a bit off on your ship.

4 Use Cannons To Defeat The Bosses During The Fort Of Fortune

It’s a good idea to stock up on cannonballs prior to traveling to the fort so that you can shoot the ashen lord bosses with the cannons for as long as it takes to defeat them.

The Reaper’s Bones faction grants many exclusive cosmetics when you get to a certain level on the leaderboards. The cosmetics that you unlock at the end of each period are exclusive and very distinct in appearance, especially compared to the rewards that are unlocked with the leaderboards of the other factions in Sea Of Thieves.

1 Load The Athena Items Onto Your Ship First After Completing A Fort Of Fortune
The Fort of Fortune yields nearly 100,000 gold upon being completed and delivering the loot. However, the most valuable of this loot are the Athena items.
The Athena items found inside of the fort of fortune offer almost 4 chests worth of Athena reputation, and even more if your ship has an Athena’s Fortune emissary flag active. This tip can also apply to any faction that you specifically want to focus on; however, Athena loot is objectively the most valuable because of how hard it is to obtain outside of the Fort of Fortune.
