Scrabble GO launched earlier this month and has since been a big success within its genre, and now Scopely has announced that the Scrabble Go’s Share-athon campaign will be extended through to April 30 in an effort to donate meals to No Kid Hungry.
The campaign first launched on Monday, April 13 to celebrate National Scrabble Day, and allowed players to give back imply by playing Scrabble GO with friends. To participate, players only need to share their Scrabble GO board on social media with #ItsYourMove, and Scopely will donate to No Kid Hungry, making sure kids get the food they need during school closures and all year long.
This is a great cause and given the success of the new game it could make a real difference, so players should both participate and let their friends know to do the same. Scrabble GO had a massive launch within its genre of word games, and currently boasts over 2.5 million players daily. Check out the infographic below to see some of the more interesting statistics compiled since the game first launched, including the highest word score to date, oxyphenbutazone. We guarantee that was not scored without the use of an online aid!
