Follow this Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon guide to locate them all in Battle Through Time, and discover what alternate future awaits the titular Samurai Jack.

Aku’s Mines - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #1

The very first Kamon can be found before meeting Rothschild in the second half of the first stage. It’s nestled next to some red crystals to the left of a wide-open canyon, wherein Jack will have to fight some Beetle Drones.

Aku’s Mines - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #2

After completing two areas of Robo Crocodiles, Jack will enter yet another a wide-open space ripe for battle. Turn directly to the right after accessing this space and smash the big wooden box near the far side of the map. The second Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon waits inside.

Boon’s Castle - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #3

Now onto the second stage of Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, the third Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon is pretty hard to miss, as it sits directly next to the Scottsman, who will relinquish to Jack a Bamboo staff.

Boon’s Castle - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #4

The fourth collectible in the game is located on the cliff of a large open canyon, which can be accessed by taking the route left of the Scotsman. It may seem rather tricky on the surface, but all you’ll have to do is simply snipe it with a bow and arrow.

Boon’s Castle - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #5

After passing Rothschild in a spiral hallway, Jack will come across an outcropping in the wall, which leads down into an open room full of enemies. Located on the wooden bridge to the right, the fifth Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon awaits a swift and true arrow bolt.

Boon’s Castle - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #6

Safely cross the swinging ax traps following the room with two chests and flying beetle drones to find the sixth Kamon hidden in the darkness of the broken landing above.

Boon’s Castle - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #7

As Jack climbs the mountain, you will see a small outcropping of rocks with Rothschild waiting to hand over a Desert Oasis Jewel. It’s almost impossible to notice, but the seventh Kamon is off in the distance down below to the far right of Roshshild’s space ship.

Boon’s Castle - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #8

Right after seeing the Scottsman and fending off two flying beetle drones, Jack can climb down into an open space below, where a cave awaits with a chest and the eighth Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon.

Boon’s Castle - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #9

The ninth collectible in Battle Through Time is located to the right of Da Samurai, hidden behind a piece of the mountain and the spiral ascension leading toward the stage’s boss battle.

Cave of the Ancient - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #10

The tenth Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon is secreted away between two hills behind where stands one of the Scottsman’s daughters in the Cave of the Ancient stage. Jump up to where the chest is and shoot the Kamon with a bow and arrow.

Cave of the Ancient - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #11

The next collectible is placed at the top of the cave’s main entrance, high above and to the left of the Scotsman.

Cave of the Ancient - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #12

Once inside the cave, look out for a breakable wall with a noticeable “X” across it, found opposite the Scotsman’s daughter and just before an Aku-sealed door. Use an explosive arrow to break inside and either shoot the Kamon or parts of the ceiling to cross the lava.

Cave of the Ancient - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #13

Act fast in acquiring the 13th Kamon, as it can be found at the end of the slowly crushing ceiling portion in the cave, right ahead of the short slide down toward the very next Kamon.

Cave of the Ancient - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #14

Slide down and land on one of the large rock structures, then turn around to face yet another breakable wall. Shoot it with an explosive arrow and snag the 14th Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon.

As soon as you enter the next room, turn left to spot the Kamon hiding at the top of a firey death tap. Navigate through the flames to grab the last collectible in Cave of the Ancient.

After seeing Da Samurai and dealing with the army of the dead, a makeshift bridge will have been formed out from one of the massive crypts. The 18th collectible can be found directly underneath.

Undead Cemetery - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #19

The 19th Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon can’t be missed, as it sits in wait behind a fence in a long straightaway with the Scotsman’s daughter. Shoot through the fence with a bow and arrow to acquire the collectible.

Undead Cemetery - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #20

Just before leaping into the wormhole, break all of the coffins lining the fencing to the left of the entrance to this area. The Kamon is hidden within the closest grave, but don’t miss out on the next one, buried in a secret crypt right next to this one.

Undead Cemetery - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #21

After completing Aku’s small puzzle, find the Kamon in the last vault to the right of the exit back toward the surface.

Aku City - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #26

The next one in this stage is located down below in a wide opening between buildings, in a portion right before facing off against a Shadow Ninja.

Aku City - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #27

Following a mini-boss battle with a giant Beetle Drone, ignore the stairs and head straight ahead past the construction blockades to find a ladder leading down to a chest. The 27th Kamon is nestled in the middle of a support beam.

Aku City - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #28

After the bar scene bout and before taking the elevator upstairs, look up above the entrance to find the penultimate Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon of the Aku City stage.

Aku City - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #29

Take the elevator upstairs and defeat the four Imakandi, but don’t head straight toward the final boss battle. Instead, turn around and look behind the elevator to find the last Kamon in this stage.

Ruined City - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #30

Drop down into the well after seeing the Scotsman at the beginning of the Ruined City stage to find the Kamon floating above the small pool.

Once Demongo has been dealt with, walk out onto the bridge with Da Samurai and turn right to see the Kamon on a structure out in the distance.

The next collectible is located on the top of the opposing building - only to make matters a bit more difficult the 32nd Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon is in constant motion.

Ruined City - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #33

After taking out a Beetle Drone and walking a bit with an open vista, the 33rd Kamon can be seen floating among the fog just before entering the next section in this stage.

Before darting toward the Scotsman on the other side of the bridge, glance to the right and shoot the floating Kamon.

Descend into the well right in front of Da Samurai to find the 35th Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon stored safely behind another fire-based puzzle.

Ruined City - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #36

When at the small colosseum with four surrounding rooms housing Aku door locking mechanisms, locate the Kamon by entering the fourth turret and jumping to the top, or simply shoot it from the first room on high through the gated window.

Snowy Forest - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #37

The first collectible in the Snowy Forest stage is practically unmissable, found on top of a large stone structure to the left of Rothschild at the beginning of the level.

Snowy Forest - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #38

The second Kamon in this stage is on another column with three RPG-touting cat assassins. Take out all of the enemies and snag it before entering the temple.

The 39th Kamon is located directly above the threshold of the room following the small fountain and one of the Scotsman’s daughters.

In the same room where Jack faces off against Demongo, a door on the floor will lead down to a chest with an X-28 grenade and the next Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon.

Prison Ship - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #45

When entering the large green room with Rothschild and the locked door, head straight and break the glass bulb to find the next Kamon inside.

Prison Ship - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #46

This one is a bit tricky. Like the last collectible, the 46th Kamon is stashed away behind one of those breakable bulbs on the wall of the same room with the locked door, only this one is at the top of a ladder along with a chest.

Prison Ship - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #47

The next Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon is also a bit tricky to spot. In the above sequence of changing staircases, spin the camera a bit toward the right to catch a slight glimpse of the Kamon in the top left-hand corner of the screen.

Prison Ship - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #48

Rounding out the Kamons among the Prison Ship is this last one sequestered to the left of the entrance leading into this stage’s first boss battle against Lazarus.

Aku’s Tower - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #49

The last two Kamons are located in seemingly very similar locations within Aku’s Tower. The first can be spotted floating to the right after exiting the room housing Da Samurai and two chests.

Aku’s Tower - Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon #50

The last and final Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon can simply be sniped right before heading into Aku’s lair to face off against the master of darkness himself.

After collecting every Corrupted Emperor’s Kamon, you will not only gain the Pack Rat trophy/achievement, but also a secret alternate ending to the Samurai Jack television show. The retconned show finale features the samurai smiling after returning to the past with Ashi, making the long and arduous scavenger hunt completely worth it.
