Saints Row: The Third is a popular action-adventure game that has a cult following among fans. This game centers around you being the leader of the Saints, a gang fighting over territory. When you want a break from the main story, Saints Row offers a unique take on the arcade-style, named as Whored Mode. In this mode, you face a plethora of skimpily dressed villains spread across multiple waves.
This is a true test of your fighting skills. No fight in Saints Row is complete without a healthy selection of weapons. In this post, we are looking at all the types of weapons that are available in Whored Mode. You get bizarre objectives through 30 waves and it offers both single and multiplayer modes.
12 Annihilator
An upgrade to the original Annihilator featured in Saints Row 2, the improved RPG is a great way to dispose of enemy vehicles in quick succession. Upgrade this weapon to level 4 and you get a laser-guided system which is capable of retargeting your enemies post-firing.
11 AR-55
This rifle is a great way to achieve headshots due to its pinpoint accuracy. The AR-55 only offers a burst fire mode. It offers fairly high damage and exceptional range when equipped with a zoom scope. Though don’t expect it to help you fend off hordes of enemies.
10 D4TH Blossom
Another submachine gun on the list. This gun is a better alternative over the TEK Z-10 due to the sheer firing rate that it offers.
Upgrade this weapon to level 4 and received armor-piercing bullets. This ensures that no cars, enemies or even riot shields can stand between you and your target. You can dual wield this SMG to double your firepower.
9 K-8 Krukov
One of the most impressive weapons on this list, the K-8 Krukov is the go-to assault rifle for any Saints Row fan. Add a level 4 upgrade to this beast and it outperforms all other rifles in the game. This is due to the fact that the upgrade adds a mounted grenade launcher, along with LMG capabilities.
8 McManus 2015
A much-needed upgrade to the McManus 2010 from Saints Row 2, this sniper rifle with a pre-attached suppressor. It offers a convenient way to eliminate your enemy from great distances stealthily. If you are looking to hit multiple targets in one shot, this is the weapon you need. This gun was further updated in Saints Row 4.
7 Mini-Gun
Another weapon which was upgraded in Saints Row 3, the Mini-Gun is the perfect gun for those who like to blast bullets in all directions. Though you cannot store this gun, it’s a great way to quickly clear the area of multiple enemies. Do take into account the time taken for the barrel to spin before bullets are dished out.
6 TEK Z-10
A submachine gun, which also happens to be one of the earliest weapons you get hands-on in the game. Though the damage is quite low, it can be dual-wielded. Though this seemingly-weak weapon quickly becomes deadly with upgrades. A level 4 upgrade gives you incendiary bullets which can is a great way to light your enemies on fire.
5 Viper Laser Rifle
This rifle places itself comfortably between the K-8 Krukov and AR-55 ad it offers a great balance between damage and accuracy. Though the weapon does not need to be reloaded, users should take care of overheating. It can be a sticky situation when you are cornered and you are waiting for the rifle to cool down.
4 AS3 Ultimax
This shotgun was first featured in Saint’s Row 2 and it makes a return thanks to its wide fanbase.
This shotgun is often used by law enforcement officers across Steelport. Though it does not have the highest damage of all the shotguns available in-game, with upgrades you can turn it into an automatic weapon.
3 Grave Digger
For the people who prefer fighting close-range, the grave-digger is one of the 3 shotguns available in the game. Even though the rate of fire is slower than, say, a SMG or rifle, the damage a fully upgraded Grave Digger makes it an effective weapon even at a fairly long range. This is a must-have weapon when you are expecting indoor, close-combat situations.
2 Cyber Blaster
This submachine gun is a variant of the SMG capable of firing laser rounds. It’s used by the Deckers gang inside the virtual cyberspace of the Saint’s Row universe. Although it does not require any reloading, it does come with a cool-down timer. So make sure that you give it a breather once in a while.
1 The Penetrator
This is a classic weapon from the Saint’s Row universe. Also known as the Dildo bat, this melee weapon’s pink skin is named the Penetrator. It features the handle of a baseball bat that is attached to a meter long dildo. When you run or swing, it wiggles like jelly. Enough said.
