Marvel Cinematic Universe film The Eternals was originally set to premiere in theaters this November, but the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has forced Disney to reshuffle the premiere dates for the MCU films. The Eternals is now not coming until February 12, 2021, and so details on it remain scarce. However, a new line of Funko Pops may have leaked the villains that will be featured in the movie.

Since The Eternals movie was originally set to premiere in November, it stands to reason that Disney had already got the ball rolling on merchandise. Funko Pop is apparently planning to release figures based on the character Arishem the Judge and Kro, who would be pretty random choices unless there was a film that would be featuring them. Throughout the history of Marvel Comics, Arishem the Judge and Kro have been linked to The Eternals, and so fans have connected the dots and think that the two characters will be the villains in The Eternals movie.

For those who may not be all that familiar with the comic books, Kro is the leader of the Deviants, who are the arch-nemeses of The Eternals. Kro’s powers include immortality, super strength, super stamina, advanced healing, and the ability to shape-shift.

As for Arishem the Judge, he is the leader of the Celestials. The Celestials have already appeared in the MCU, with Kurt Russell’s Ego from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 being a Celestial and Peter Quill therefore being half-Celestial and half-human. It remains to be seen how Arishem the Judge and Kro will factor into the MCU’s ongoing storylines, but one has to imagine that they will retain their identities and roles from the comics.

The Eternals will premiere in theaters on February 12, 2021.
