Fan-favorite map Nuketown will be returning in this year’s Call of Duty, according to rumors on Twitter.

Even though the game has not been officially announced by Activision, all signs point to this year’s entry in the Call of Duty series being Black Ops: Cold War. The hints started in Warzone earlier this month with clues inside bunker 11, which includes a Cold War-era spy plane. While some believe that Cold War will be announced within Warzone in a Fortnite-style event, it is also possible that the next Call of Duty will be revealed during Sony’s PS5 presentation later this week.

Rumors are leaks are already going around about the next Call of Duty. We know for certain that Warzone will be included as a free-to-play game mode in Cold War just as it is now for Modern Warfare. We also may have just discovered some of the maps that will be included in Cold War thanks to a leaker known as LongSensation AKA @TomHenderson on Twitter. According to Tom, Nuketown, Jungle, Summit, and Firing Range will all be remastered in the next Black Ops.

Of course, these four maps have been in every iteration of Black Ops so far, so it’s not much of a leap to guess that they’ll show up in Black Ops: Cold War. Even if it isn’t a genuine leak, Tom is likely correct, considering Treyarch’s history of recycling their maps.

I just hope zombies is coming back.
