While IRL streaming on the streets of Tokyo, Twitch partner Robcdee experienced an interesting encounter after running into a few locals.

This sort of situation has become something of a routine for Rob, as he doesn’t shy away from broadcasting in some sketchy areas at night, such as the Shibuya ward within Tokyo. This time around, he ran into a giggly couple – or at least what appeared to be a couple. After they waved to the camera and said hello, Rob asked if they were partners.

…Quite a way to answer. After both of them responded with a resounding “no,” the female proceeded to add, “just friend[s].” However, the male chimed in with an ecstatic, “sex friends!” This led to the girl’s embarrassment, giving him a light punch as he tried to get a fist-bump from Rob. The streamer couldn’t contain his amusement, saying goodbye and throwing in a cheeky, “good luck!” In some cases, this dialogue could be troublesome, but everything appeared to be in good humor. Rob usually keeps an eye out for that sort of thing, too.

If you’re unfamiliar with Rob, his Twitch content revolves around IRL streaming, usually in Tokyo, Japan. Generally, the Australian streamer has developed a reputation for consistently acting heroically towards strangers, even in the most uncomfortable situations. Despite the internet’s judgmental nature, Rob has earned universal respect with his wholesome content over the years. He does have his flaws, however, mentioning that he “doesn’t even like Demon Slayer” in the same stream. How dare he.

Viewers have been particularly thankful for Rob’s streams as of late. Perhaps the most popular foreign Japan-based streamer was Jakenbake, who recently moved back to Los Angeles for the foreseeable future. It was a tough decision for the streamer, especially considering how he built his content around IRL streaming while living abroad.

Jakenbake has been experiencing some mixed feelings about the change up. In many ways, things have been good, as he recently purchased and new car is has been united with loved ones. However, the Twitch streamer was hit particularly hard by the COVID-19 pandemic combined with his heartfelt goodbye to Japan. With any luck, we’ll continue to get quality IRL content from both streamers.
