FunPlus Phoenix are cementing themselves among League of Legends’ finest with the new 2019 FPX Worlds skins, celebrating the team’s dominant 3-0 win over G2 Esports in the 2019 Worlds final. The Chinese juggernaut squad are joining the likes of  Samsung Galaxy, Invictus Gaming, SK Telecom T1, and Fnatic to all have personalized skins celebrating their world championship victories.

Each player was able to choose what champion they wanted a skin for. The champions chosen were Malphite, Lee Sin, Gangplank, Vayne and Thresh. All five skins don the FPX red, black and gold color scheme with design elements taken from the organization’s signature phoenix logo. The skins all feature the champions wearing masks, with pulsating fire incorporated in some way.

Along with choosing what champion they wanted, each player gave input about their individual recall animations. Tian’s Lee Sin features the champion chopping bamboo with some swift kicks during his recall animation. Lwx’s Vayne has a dance party with some cats while she recalls, which actually represents the stray cats that Lwx feeds outside the FPX team base.

The skins are expected to hit the PBE in patch 10.9, and could be live on the main servers in as little as two weeks. They’ll cost 1350 RP each, and fans who want them will need to buy them quick, as like previous Worlds skins, they’ll only be around for a limited time.
