Riot Games has been on a roll lately with the release of their newest games Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics, and with the continued dominance of the immensely popular League of Legends. It was only a matter of time before the developer leveraged the power of all three of its games to create a cross-title promotion, which is now live as the Spirit Blossom event.

The Spirit Blossom Festival’s theme honors those who have passed on, and is live now until August 24, so there is plenty of time to take advantage of the in-game promotion in each title. Not only that, but in-game currency earned during the event can be spent until September 8. Players will have the opportunity to earn skins and cosmetic items relating to the event.

In Legends of Runeterra, a new Lab mode has been added with six premade decks themed after the Spirit Blossom. By playing through the lap and using an Event Pass, players can earn a series of cosmetic rewards in a mix of free and premium track combinations.

In League of Legends, the event coincides with the addition of Lillia, the newest Champion. The character’s devotion to nature, and the Jungle, is clearly present throughout the promotion. Players will be able to earn favor with each spirit by completing missions, which will help progress the event to unlock rewards. The Nexus Blitz is back with a reimagined design, and overall looks quite good with its vibrant colors.

Lastly, Teamfight Tactics has the smallest amount of event-related rewards, with themed variants of three Little Legends available to unlock. Now, if only they could manage to squeeze in something for VALORANT players, Riot Games would have all of its players covered!

The cross-title promotion is sure to be a hit with players and will hopefully be the first of many. On of the best parts about being a fan of a single developer who makes several games is being rewarded for spending time within those related titles. Blizzard does this often with between Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, and Heroes of the Storm. More recently, the entire Call of Duty series has capitalized on rewarding its player for playing Modern Warfare, Warzone and Mobile.
