There are a wide variety of monsters in the Resident Evil universe. Across the various titles and their spinoffs, fans have been introduced to humans that have turned into horrible monsters, monsters that were never human, and some in between.
Some players have likely wondered which of these sick and twisted entities they associate with the most. A good way to determine this is to analyze the traits each character demonstrates and compare it to a person’s Zodiac. Considering these are monsters it’s obvious that an examination of a person’s worst Zodiac traits are needed to find the commonalities.
12 Aquarius – James Marcus
James Marcus was a highly intelligent individual who helped found the Umbrella Corporation after discovered the Progenitor Virus. He was fascinated with the potential the virus had and devoted himself to its research and study for decades before finally mutating into a monster via his creation, the Queen Leech.
James is likely an Aquarius given his intelligence and devotion to his work. The man would have been content living his life experimenting on his underlings and watching the virus shape the world around him.
11 Pisces – William Birkin
Dr. William Birkin was one of the brightest researchers for the Umbrella Corporation. Though intelligent he often felt inferior to his coworkers, such as Alexia Ashford. This resentment and bitterness caused him to willingly betray his mentor only to be betrayed himself and lead to his mutation via the G-Virus.
Pisces types will understand the self-imposed victimhood and subsequent desire to be a know-it-all. Hopefully, most won’t resort to the evil Birkin did, but they’ll understand the desire to be seen as a genius.
10 Aries – Bitores Mendez
Bitores Mendez is the defacto leader of the Ganado villagers after everyone was infected by the Plaga. He hounds Leon Kennedy with both the villagers and the Gigante before rolling up his sleeves and fighting the man himself. He was even willing to mutate into his insectoid-like form to get the job done when his underlings couldn’t.
He’s an Aries in every sense of the word being aggressive, confident, and a leader both by directly commanding them via the Plaga and by example as a grotesque monster.
9 Taurus – Mr. X
Mr. X had a commanding presence in Resident Evil 2 Remake. Once it acquired its target it relentlessly pursued them until either the target or itself was destroyed. It didn’t matter how badly it was damaged or how close it came to death it would keep coming as long as some part of it could keep going.
This really embodies the patience and stubbornness of those born under the Taurus. Bullets, fire, explosions, vehicle, and even molten slag wasn’t enough to deter this creature from its goal.
8 Gemini – Eveline
Eveline is a cloned and artificially aged young girl obsessed with being part of a family. Using her powers over the Mold she infects and possesses the Baker family and other individuals to create a pseudo-family for herself. In spite of her young age she quickly learned how to manipulate others and adapted to threats as they arose.
She’s a shoo-in for Gemini personality types who don’t like to be alone and are capable of adapting to any situation. There’s also a strong desire to not be confined which Eveline definitely demonstrates through Resident Evil 7.
7 Cancer – Lucas Baker
Lucas Baker was a psychopath long before being infected by Eveline and the infection only heightened his instable mind. His rebellion turned to aggression and his mischievous nature became one of manipulation. Using his brilliant mind he devises impossible games to torture and torment his victims.
It’s a Cancer personality that embraces the darker aspects of their nature. A brilliant imagination twisted into a dark purpose to manipulate and harm others from the shadows.
6 Leo – Alexia Ashford
Alexia Ashford is a highly intelligent individual who is very aware of her gifts. This ego gradually develops into Alexia perceiving herself as a fledgling goddess and using the Progenitor Virus and a Queen Ant virus seeks to achieve this perfect state. After her transformation her ego hits a climax as she excepts all to bow and worship her.
Leo-types are examples of this type of grand ego and arrogance. When a Leo isn’t treated like royalty they’re known to fight like lions to get the respect they feel is deserved.
5 Virgo – Nemesis
The monster known as Nemesis is a juggernaut in Resident Evil 3 Remake. No matter how many obstacles or how long it took it relentlessly pursued Jill and the other humans from one corner of Racoon City to the other. It takes severe injuries to cause it to abandon its pursuit, but once it recovered it immediately returned to its task.
It’s a great example of a Virgo-type personality. The Nemesis is the definition of a workaholic while still realizing its own limitations and need for self-preservation.
4 Libra – Diego Gomez
Diego Gomez is a monster with a tragic backstory. Due to atrocities committed against the US government he’s attacked during his wedding leading to the death of his family and horribly disfiguring him. Diego subjected himself to horrible experiments to gain power to exact his revenge on those who wronged him.
The worst parts of Libra are manifested in Diego. Like Diego they have a long memory for those who’ve wronged them and are deeply upset by injustices committed against them.
3 Scorpio – Albert Wesker
Albert Wesker is a monster both in the human sense and the literal sense as later mutations would show. This Machiavellian mastermind was willing to betray and manipulate anyone and everyone in his path to power and perfection. He came close a number of times and can be seen as the greatest threat the heroes of the Resident Evil series ever encountered.
He’s a Scorpio through and through. Like Scorpios he was incredibly resourceful, secretive, distrusting, and prone to bursts of violence.
2 Sagittarius – Carla Radames
Carla Radames was a bright woman who was corrupted and experimented on by her master who resurrected her as his love obsession Ada Wong. Discovering the brainwashing and manipulation she became obsessed with freedom and was willing to say or do anything to rid herself of the evil man clinging to her.
Many Sagittarius types will relate to this being individuals who prioritize freedom above all else. Being constrained or inhibited by others is not something they deal well with.
1 Capricorn – Alex Wesker
Alex Wesker was publicly a very disciplined and in-control individual. In private she was prone to extreme arrogance and developed a deep loathing for any one or anything that opposed her and her ambitions to achieve perfection.
Capricorns share some of these traits bearing a great deal of control and composure. This cool demeanor is born from a know-it-all attitude and unfortunately some Capricorns, like Alex, will see themselves as superior to others.
