Resident Evil 3 is out now, and as fans finish the game’s main campaign, they may find themselves wanting something a little more to go with the game. As many know, Resident Evil Resistance is packaged with Resident Evil 3 and is a 4v1 asymmetrical multiplayer game set in the greater RE universe.

Four surivors must survive the onslaught of a single Mastermind, which include Alex Wesker, Annette Birking, and Ozwell E. Spencer. More survivors and Masterminds will likely be added to RE Resistance, but one character is currently missing: survivor Jill Valentine. Capcom has now announced that she will be playable following an update on April 17.

While having to wait two weeks from the initial release to play Jill Valentine may be disappointing, Capcom promises that information regarding future content for Resident Evil Resistance will be forthcoming. This may go a long way in adding some longevity to the otherwise short main game.

In the meantime, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to become familiar with the mechanics of the game mode. Learning how to play survivors and how to play Masterminds in Resident Evil Resistance will go a long way in making the most out of Jill Valentine when she releases.

Resident Evil 3 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
