Resident Evil 4 shares a lot with the Metal Gear series. It’s pretty clear the team at Capcom learned a thing or two from Konami. There is the Codec-like conversations on the satellite phone, the idea of sending one man to secretly rescue someone on an enemy base, and the list goes on. Solid Snake should have been a secret character in it.
