It’s hard to go on the internet these days and not see a post about Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil: Village. The large vampire lady in the elegant dress has become the focus of many memes and it doesn’t look like that’s stopping anytime soon.

The Resident Evil Showcase will celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary and give a date for Resident Evil: Village. Fans absolutely can’t wait to go toe-to-toe with the beloved new character. So, don’t expect the fervor for Lady Dimitrescu to die down when the game releases everywhere on May 7th either.

Like Master Chief, she’s become an instant hit with fans. Yet, unlike Master Chief, she’s over 7’ tall. Here are John and 9 other video game characters that Lady Dimitrescu somehow dwarfs.

10 Father Gascoigne From Bloodborne (7')

Like many of the bosses and characters in FromSoftware games, Father Gascoigne has taken on a life of his own as a fan favorite. In terms of playing Bloodborne, he serves a pivotal role as the junction point in which many players decide to continue on or quit.

He’s seen as a wall that players must overcome but has been the reason many players never finish the masterpiece. As a human, he stands at 7’ tall and this makes him shorter than Lady Dimitrescu at first. However, he actually towers over her at 12’ when he transforms into his werewolf form.

9 Reinhardt From Overwatch (7'4")

Overwatch is a game that introduced the gaming landscape to a universe full of amazing heroes and dastardly villains. The game lets players control characters of varying sizes and abilities, allowing for people to find someone who clicks for them.

The largest person on that roster is the ironclad protector known as Reinhardt who stands at 7'4". He’s considered an imposing force that can protect the many. But, when measured against Lady Dimitrescu, it makes him feel less like a grand knight and more like an average soldier.

8 Doom Guy From Doom (6'9")

Doom Guy is a killing machine whose sole reason for existing is to eliminate the demonic threat plaguing the Earth. He handles extremely large and powerful weaponry and strikes fear into devilish and demonic entities. So, naturally, it feels like he would be this larger-than-life entity in-person.

In truth, he actually stands just shy of 7 feet and officially comes in at a height of 6'9". Who would have known that one of gaming’s most efficient and feared killers of all-time would stand at a height similar to NBA great and future legend, LeBron James?

7 Nemesis From Resident Evil 3 (7'3")

For decades at this point, Resident Evil fans have debated and discussed how terrifying it would be to have to deal with Nemesis in real-life. The imposing menace stands at 7'3" and walks with a sense of purpose and direction. He’s like the Terminator in that people can try to stop him but he’ll still keep coming.

Capcom decided to pull a sick joke on the fanbase and introduce a large vampire woman in Lady Dimitrescu. She stands over two feet taller than an enemy that has haunted the dreams of Resident Evil fans for more than two decades.

6 Capra Demon From Dark Souls (9')

When Dark Souls’ players talk about the first game, they’ll likely mention the Capra Demon, but not because he stands at 9’ tall. It’ll likely be because the horned minotaur must be fought in what appears to be a stone closet covered in vines.

The Capra Demon fight is annoying due to the fighting arena constraints in addition to its two pet canines. Fans are probably happy this kind of encounter won’t happen in Resident Evil: Village. But don’t be surprised if Lady Dimitrescu corners the player in a tiny area with no way to escape. She’s got another 6 inches on the Capra Demon and that makes her all the more terrifying.

5 Ganondorf From The Legend Of Zelda (7'6")

Ganondorf has appeared in many forms over the years as the antagonist in The Legend Of Zelda games. He gives Link quite the challenge as the hero tries to figure out how to take out each version of the embodiment of evil. The Legend of Zelda does a good job of keeping its main villain refreshing enough for fans of the series, but Ganondorf’s human-like form seems to be the canon form of the villain.

This form has the agent of chaos measuring in at a height of 7'6" which would make him one of the world’s largest living humans if he existed in real life. Unfortunately, tall vampire lady out-talls him by two whole feet.

4 Donkey Kong From Donkey Kong (7'10")

Donkey Kong is known for being named after King Kong, the giant gorilla who scaled the Empire State building and fought Godzilla. Most people assume he’s around the size of an actual gorilla, but he does happen to have some of the DNA of his colossal influence.

Donkey King, in fact, stands at 7'10" which is quite frightening when considering how powerful gorillas are in general. Thankfully, DK happens to be one of the goofiest and well-meaning gorillas to ever exist and will only become a problem if his bananas go missing. Perhaps Lady Dimitrescu could keep him as a pet.

3 Kratos From God Of War (7')

Imagine being known as the God of War, but still being 2 feet shorter than a lady in a dress with a sun hat that’s way too large for her head. Despite standing at 7’, being shorter or smaller in stature than his opponents is something Kratos has dealt with in every one of his games.

His pure rage and aggression do a lot of heavy lifting when he seems to be outmatched. Lady Dimitrescu seems to be nothing more than a large female vampire, so how on Earth could she pose a threat to a man who has killed literal gods from different mythological pantheons?

2 Bowser From Super Mario Bros. (8'7")

Since the Super Mario franchise is set in a fictitious world, it’s always hard to figure out how large all of the characters are. Avid fans have done the work and their calculations have the giant demon turtle villain named Bowser coming in at a height of 8'7".

To most humans, that would be terrifying, but for Lady Dimitrescu, she’d be able to look down into his eyes. They’re both villainous and up to no good, so it could be possible that the larger-than-life vampire lady teams up with a demon turtle who’s nothing more than a big bully.

1 Master Chief From Halo (7')

Master Chief is one of the biggest icons in video games and stands among the most well-known just under the likes of Mario and Donkey Kong. He’s known for being an absolute tool for destruction and war while also willing and capable of taking down anything in his path.

He may be one of the galaxy’s greatest heroes, but he still manages to be more than 2 feet shorter than Lady Dimitrescu. With the number of aliens and forces he faces, Master Chief is never really the largest fighter in battle, so it’s nothing new to him.
