There’s a busy week ahead for trainers in Pokémon GO as Reshiram makes its debut and the final Throwback Event comes to an end.
The fourth and final Pokémon GO throwback event is underway right now. This time trainers can celebrate everything Sinnoh. As has been the case with the previous three Throwback Events, there are nine levels of research to complete, each with three tasks. Get them all done before the event comes to an end at 1 pm local time this Friday. Plus, trainers who have completed all nine levels across all four Throwback Events will unlock special research sometime next week, after the game’s “global downtime”.
Since the Unova region’s Pokémon have not all been unleashed in Pokémon GO, it can’t have its own Throwback Event. It is getting spotlighted this week though in the form of Reshiram, one of the region’s Tao Trio. Reshiram is available now in five-star raids. It’s the first time the legendary Pokémon has appeared in Pokémon GO. The other members of the Tao Trio will come at a later date.
Trainers were given the chance to vote for the stars of Pokémon GO’s June and July Community Days this past weekend. The votes are in and the winners are Gastly and Weedle. Trainers who voted for Sandshrew and Squirtle are out of luck this time around. Weedle will step into the limelight for June’s CD, while Gastly will be the focus in July.
