I didn’t have very long with Nier Reincarnation’s beta, perhaps just a couple of hours here and there until I reached chapter three during its very brief beta period. Square Enix reports that net sales increased 34% year-on-year to $2.4 billion. The Japanese publisher also noted its operating income rose 48% to $389.6 million and ordinary income rose 38% to $369.7 million. In Q3 2020, Square Enix’s HD games division had a net sales increase of 124% year-on-year. Net sales of the publisher’s console and PC titles increased from $79.8 million to $178.6 million, yet operating income for the division dropped year-on-year to a loss of $38 million, an improvement on the loss of an estimated $57 million in the previous quarter....
Actress Jeanette Maus, who voiced several characters in Resident Evil Village, an upcoming survival horror game developed and published by Capcom, has passed away at the age of 39. Maus, who had been battling colon cancer, died on Sunday. The actress also suffered from Crohn’s disease and had recently been diagnosed with COVID-19. Psyonix officially releases Rocket League’s underwater-themed arena known as the Aquadome today at no additional cost for players of the vehicular soccer title. Kotaku reports that sources familiar with Bungie have confirmed that the unannounced Destiny 2 has been delayed from its planned September 2016 release. Usually games are officially announced before fans are slapped with a release date delay, but that’s not the case with the rumored Destiny 2. Apparently the game was due for release in September of this year, but the higher-ups at Bungie have decided to delay it to a later, undetermined date....
RuneScape players are currently experience issues logging into the game, and Jagex is currently working on a fix.
