Rocksteady Studios, developers of the Batman: Arkham trilogy, was not at E3 20018. Fans hoping to see what Rocksteady’s next game would be were understandably disappointed, especially so given a slew of now seemingly unsubstantiated rumors leading up to the convention. But it’s Rocksteady Studios, seeing the excitement and knowing that nothing would be forthcoming, that was likely most disappointed of all. Now with E3 nearing its end and the excitement winding down, Rocksteady game director Sefton Hill has put together a statement for fans....

Destiny is likely to get a feature in its next update that will allow players to set any Uncommon item they pick up to be automatically dismantled into materials. Destiny will be getting its next live event in a few weeks with an event called The Dawning. It will usher in the return of Sparrow Racing League as well as add three remastered Strikes and Strike Scoring. It also appears that accompanying the event will be an update, of which very little is known....

In what was already a grim month for the gaming industry, 5th Cell announces the cancellation of its upcoming Scribblenauts title and, worse, layoffs within the studio. The Scribblenauts developer says it has laid off staff after it was announced that publisher Warner Bros was cancelling Scribblenauts: Fighting Words. According to members of 5th Cell, the sudden cancellation and subsequent loss of jobs has come as a shock to virtually everyone involved, and a number of stunned employees have now lost their jobs as a result of Warner Bros’ decision to pull the plug on the new Scribblenauts title....

You won’t have to wait long for the inevitable Skyrim PS5 port to play the game in 60FPS as one mod has just released that lifts the cap. As an added bonus, there’s a workaround so that it doesn’t disable trophies, either, so you can play Bethesda’s hit RPG without losing out on achievements. The mod is simply titled ‘Skyrim @ 60fps’ and it’s from a user called Wrighton. Perusing his profile, you can find the same mod albeit with FOV alterations to boot, these being increases to 85, 90, and 120....

Ever since the release of the original PlayStation, the Wipeout franchise has been key in Sony’s gaming lineup. The first game in the futuristic racing series was a launch title for the PS1, and ever since Wipeout 3, the Wipeout franchise has been exclusive to Sony systems. Unfortunately, Sony shutdown the Wipeout studio, SCE Liverpool, in 2012, not long after the release of Wipeout 2048 for the PS Vita. We haven’t heard anything about Wipeout since then, but now Sony has broken their silence on the franchise, offering fans some small hope that a new game in the series could eventually see the light of day....

The idea is akin to Marvel’s former run of Netflix shows, which featured Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, as well as The Defenders which brought them all together. It’s unknown whether this new series of shows will follow a similar structure, though considering it’s Marvel, who features more crossovers than a Boy Scouts knot guide, it’s probably safe to assume. Silk, which was confirmed as part of the collection shortly after the deal was made, features Korean-American student and classmate of Peter Parker, Cindy Moon....
