Hot off his spectacular showing at the NFL Combine this past weekend, EA Sports has unveiled Robert Griffin III, or RG3 as he is more commonly known, as the cover athlete for NCAA Football 13. Beating out probable first pick in the draft Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III has cemented his legacy in sports game history without even throwing one pass in the NFL. But RG3 won’t be the only cover athlete for 2012’s edition of the franchise as EA Sports announced that one of eight former college stars will be joining Griffin....

Rocksteady Studios is having a big moment, with the good side of its recent PR focused on the upcoming Suicide Squad game that is set to reveal official details at the DC FanDome event this weekend. However, some more serious news regarding sexism and harassment allegations have come to light at the studio, and it is currently working on an official response to these unsettling issues. While Rocksteady officials have yet to release an official company statement, its official Twitter account recently published an anonymously-signed letter from seven women working at Rocksteady....

The role-playing genre is one of the largest and most popular genres in gaming. These epic titles take players on epic adventures that tell great stories and allow players to interact with the world in realistic ways. It’s an ambitious genre that sees fewer titles, but the RPGs players do receive are filled with passion. Most RPGs, anyway. The innovation or passion that makes classics such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic or Baldur’s Gate is pretty immense and is rare in the industry, especially in modern times....

Fans of Blizzard’s highly successful dungeon-crawling RPG Diablo 3 may have a release to look forward to in 2019, if a purported leak is to be believed. Originally released in 2012, Diablo 3 received critical acclaim at the time and has enjoyed enormous success since, with new content being released for the title by Blizzard as recently as last year. In addition to being available on the PC, the game has had releases on both the Xbox One and 360, and the PlayStation 3 and 4....

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds players have had an eventful last few weeks, with a huge amount of bans kicking out 2 million players on mobile, and a fan-requested PUBG multiplayer mode announced recently. This next bit of news isn’t officially confirmed, but a rumor with some credence says that a tournament mode is coming to PUBG soon. Many PUBG players were excited to finally have Ranked Solo confirmed, which comes to bolster the game’s other modes like Duos and Squads....

At this rate, the most important news coming out of E3 2015 might be what’s not shown there. Square Enix’s biggest game, Final Fantasy 15, has already been confirmed as a no-show. Sega won’t be there at all. Bethesda’s throwing its first ever E3 press conference, but if the rumors are true, the highly anticipated post-apocalyptic RPG Fallout 4 will only be shown behind closed doors. Now, add another game to the list....

Way back in 2006, Square Enix released Final Fantasy 12, introducing a unique battle system for the series and featuring a politically-fueled story that resonated with many. While perhaps not as well-loved as fellow PS2 classic Final Fantasy 10, Final Fantasy 12 still sold extremely well and was met with critical acclaim. Square Enix tends to re-release every game they’ve ever made multiple times across multiple platforms, yet nothing new on the Final Fantasy 12 front has come since its release on the PS2 nearly a decade ago....

Volition is currently hard at work on its unhinged new action franchise, Agents of Mayhem, and to promote its upcoming project, the developer is running a Saint’s Row themed promotion on GoG. Saint’s Row 2 is available to all users for free, while other titles are being offered at deep discounts. First released in 2008, Saint’s Row 2 is where many fans agree the franchise found its footing, having started out as something of a Grand Theft Auto clone....

Taking the series to ludicrously crazy new heights back in 2011, Saints Row: The Third is remembered by many as both the best entry in the series and potentially one of the most fun sandbox games in the history of the genre. Luckily for fans of the wacky game, it has just hit the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the brand new Saints Row: The Third Remastered package, which brings all the title’s DLC and some brand new visuals to current generation consoles....

Last summer, the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark film successfully adapted the creepy children’s books of the same name for the big screen, earning positive reviews and becoming a box office success. Unsurprisingly, this success is now leading to a sequel film, with Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark 2 officially a go, with the first film’s director, Andre Ovredal, returning to direct the sequel. Legendary filmmaker Guillermo del Toro will also be returning for Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark 2, as the movie will reportedly be based on an original story he wrote as opposed to one of the stories from the children’s book series....

The upcoming San Diego Comic Con just became a whole lot more exciting with the reveal that directors Joe and Anthony Russo will be launching the “We Love You 3000 Tour,” in appreciation for the fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). A list of tour dates has been released, beginning at Comic-Con on July 20. The announcement also touts “special guests”, but considering the massive roster of heroes incorporated into both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, there is no telling who that might include....

Sea of Thieves, Rare’s newest pirate adventure game, is out now. But before Sea of Thieves was about pirates, the developer considered a lot of other worlds and themes for its cooperative adventure game, including dinosaurs and vampires. Speaking with IGN, Rare studio head Craig Duncan said the development of Sea of Thieves started with the concept of a co-op adventure, but early in development the kind of world that adventure would take place in had yet to be decided....

Sony’s Media Showcase this morning at the Paris Games Weeks event has proven to be a wild success, featuring new trailers and announcements regarding all of the publisher’s most anticipated upcoming releases. Prominent among those games is the remake of Shadow of the Colossus for the PlayStation 4, developed by Bluepoint. The latest update on the legendary game’s remake is a new trailer showing off the original game’s now updated introductory cinematic....

Midway through the second episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Jen phones her cousin Bruce to get his blessing on taking a new job, which would require her to defend Bruce’s old nemesis from The Incredible Hulk, Emil Blonsky aka Abomination. Bruce of course agrees but then reveals that he can’t do more because he’s on a spaceship headed for Sakaar, the same ship whose sudden appearance in episode one caused the accident that led to Jen getting Bruce’s gamma-irradiated blood in her system....

During the recent State of Play showcase from Sony, Sloclap presented the first trailer for its new martial arts game, Sifu. The developer has continued down the path started by its last game Absolver, although Sifu is going to be an entirely single-player adventure. However, this doesn’t mean that Sloclap has abandoned multiplayer games. Sifu is about a young Kung Fu adept who wants revenge on a group of five assassins responsible for murdering his family....

Starting a business like a restaurant or even visiting one in The Sims 4 was introduced with Dine Out, which remains one of the more popular game packs to this day. With how much variety players can have in their restaurants, almost any type and kind is possible with the right build. Building isn’t, however, something that everyone enjoys, and Build Mode can feel extremely overwhelming. Even with pre-made builds, many of them just lack substance and uniqueness....

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim gives players access to some of the most powerful artifacts to ever exist in Tamriel. One such artifact is the Dark Brotherhood’s Blade of Woe. The powerful enchantments and base damage alone make this dagger a must-have in any sneak or assassin build’s inventory. However, the game does not offer much information about this legendary weapon. In the Elder Scrolls lore, the Blade of Woe makes multiple appearances and has a significant role in the Dark Brotherhood’s history....

Skyrim is a game that is well known for its wide range of quests, especially in some of the major cities in the games. Quests allow players to quickly earn gear and money, sometimes for very little work. Solitude is the capital city of the providence and one of the final goals during the civil war storyline. This larger city has tons of things for players to do, from helping with fashion to making coin off of intricate schemes....

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim’s total conversion mod, Enderal, officially announces a massive expansion pack, which receives a release sometime next year. Earlier this year, the Skyrim total conversion mod known as Enderal released in August, providing fans of Bethesda’s open world fantasy-RPG with what is essentially its own complete game filled with its own unique world and lore built upon the structure and overall components of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim....
