Over the past few weeks, Capcom has consistently teased the upcoming remake of Resident Evil 2 with trailers and five new gameplay footages. Now that the game is only a few weeks away from release, most fans of the series are excited to get a hold of what could easily be Capcom’s most highly-anticipated remake to date. While Capcom tried to introduce new elements in the remake such as a new location called The Orphanage, the studio still included some classic terrifying moments that is still as scary now as it did back in 1998....

Resident Evil 4 is a fan favorite installment in the survival horror franchise thanks to its bold reimagining of the series’ usual mechanics and style, but that doesn’t mean it was a flawless game. Riot Games has released a merchandise line inspired by League of Legends music group K/DA. The apparel line is now available for purchase on the True Damage website. The collection includes T-shirts and sweatshirts, ranging up to $65. The collection drop follows the release of the group’s debut EP, All Out, which became available to stream on all major platforms on November 6th. K/DA has risen in popularity over the last few years since their debut single, POP/STARS, released ahead of the 2018 League of Legends World Championship....

Yesterday’s patch 1.06 for VALORANT has already been datamined, revealing several plans that Riot Games has quietly begun work on. The newest update to VALORANT brought nerfs to shotguns and flashbangs, as well as a handful of bug fixes. Under the surface of the patch lies several lines of code that have revealed some of Riot’s future plans for the game, including options for streamers and account migrating. Stream sniping has been a problem in competetive videogames since the dawn of streaming....

Several months ago, the video game developer Psyonix included The Fate of the Furious DLC for Rocket League that included the character Dominic Toretto’s Dodge Ice Charger from the aforementioned movie. Now, the company is announcing that even more expansion materials from the action film franchise are being brought to the vehicular soccer title, as it has revealed that two new cars are on the way in just a week’s time....

About a month ago, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg claimed in a call to investors that the next three years for the Call of Duty property are set to deliver the best games in the series to date, leading many to begin speculating as to what 2018’s entry would be. Less than a month remains until Cyberpunk 2077 finally launches after years of hype. CD Projekt RED has shown a lot of the open-world sci-fi RPG in the leadup to its release, but given the sheer scale and insane amount of detail in Cyberpunk 2077, it’s not at all far-fetched to think that it may still have a few big surprises to reveal. If word around the rumor mill this week is to be believed, one of these surprises may have something to do with Dr Disrespect....

An anonymous source reports to Kotaku that Destiny 2 has been rebooted, with The Taken King director Luke Smith taking control of the game’s development. While many Destiny fans are waiting for concrete news on the rumored Rise of Iron expansion, others are looking ahead to Destiny 2. While we probably won’t see much of Destiny 2 until Bungie is done supporting the original game, a source has reported to Kotaku that the game may be a bit troubled behind the scenes, apparently undergoing a reboot amidst staff reorganization at the studio....

The past week has been a roller coaster for Xbox and its flagship next-gen release, Halo Infinite. Not only was there some controversy over the game’s visuals, but it leaked early that Halo Infinite’s multiplayer would be free-to-play. Xbox has since confirmed that free-to-play news, leading to many Xbox fans wondering what other rumors might be true. The latest of which being that Halo Infinite will feature a battle pass, aptly named the Spartan Pass....

Overwatch has just wrapped up its Uprising event, but fans are already looking forward to the game’s next major event. Many are expecting Blizzard to do something special for the game’s one year anniversary on May 24th, and if Reddit user and supposed Blizzard QA tester OverwatchOneYearLeak is to be believed, May 24th will bring with it a brand new game mode and three new maps. According to OverwatchOneYearLeak, Overwatch’s three new maps will consist of one new escort map, a new 3v3 map, and then a third map built with the new game mode in mind....

Update: We’ve received clarification from Afro Gear that THQN_Reinhard is Reinhard Pollice of THQ Nordic. Pollice was answering questions in the Reddit AMA and posted a clipboard image of the E3 2019 lineup. Since the image came from THQ Nordic itself, it adds a great deal of legitimacy to the rumor.
