Skyrim has a lot of characters in it; however, there were some especially interesting NPCs during the main questline that players got the chance to interact with. Some of these characters were dragons, and some were humans, but regardless of their race, players will find that these are fascinating characters with rich backstories and interesting dialogue. Characters such as Delphine and Paarthurnax will have many interesting things to say to the player and aid them on their quest to save the world from the returning dragons....

National fighting game tournament BEAST 7 was held in Sweden, on February 17-19 of 2017. Hideo Kojima’s most recent game, Death Stranding, was last year’s most interesting, and most divisive, release. The game certainly wasn’t for everyone, featuring a complicated world and gameplay that some felt was repetitive. However, some fans believe Kojima is now teasing a Death Stranding sequel, or at least, the developer’s next full-fledged game, after a series of tweets. PlayStation owners who have contacted Sony about its consoles’ clock batteries are reporting that they have heard back about a potential fix. Twitter account Does It Play recently discovered that when a PS4’s clock battery eventually gives up the ghost, the console will no longer be able to play games. Not just digital downloads, but physical games too. The account has now shared that worried console owners who have voiced their concerns to Sony have apparently been assured that a fix is in the works....

Splatoon 2 finally released, and the reviews have generally been positive. It might not be enough of a huge step-up in terms of new features to justify referring to it as a sequel, but the fact that the game can be played on the go adds a whole new dimension to the Splatoon series. On top of that, this is the game that is spearheading Nintendo’s new online services for the Switch....

Astro’s Playroom is filled with references to iconic PlayStation franchises – many of which you’ll need to go out of your way to discover. Earlier today, Square Enix shared one of their favorite easter eggs buried in the game, featuring a robotic Lara Croft practicing her tomb raiding skills. The clip is only about ten seconds long, but it’s absolutely adorable – as is everything about Astro’s Playroom. In it, we see a few different shots of Lara, although she’s always slinking around in the background....

During the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom revealed that a new Resident Evil animated series is coming to Netflix in 2021. Described as a CG anime horror series, the upcoming Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness will follow Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield as they embark on a journey that will “reveal a Resident Evil world unlike anything seen before.” Sadly, Capcom isn’t revealing many of the finer points of the show’s plot at this time....

This spoiler free Riverdale review is based on the first four episodes. Twenty-one minutes. It seems that every conference under the sun is being cancelled due to the coronavirus. Large gatherings of people in confined spaces isn’t an ideal place to be right now, making it an easy decision to shutdown any expos that were supposed to take place. Second Hand: Frankie’s Revenge is a co-op, top down action game that combines elements of twin stick shooters and beat-em-ups into a charming blend with an engaging customization system and a surprising amount of depth. As an early access game, content is somewhat sparse for now, but there is enough here to suggest promising things to come. First time developers Rikodu, based in Transylvania, have created a visual style for the game best described as “Slapstick Wall-E”; you play as a sort-of junkyard robot cobbled together from various appliance and donning a wide variety of weapons from chainsaws to glue guns, weapons used to great effect as you slice and dice your way through hordes of aggressive robots, completing objectives and eventually escaping each level via jet pack....

After weeks of teasing and rumors, Sony and Guerrilla have outright confirmed that Horizon: Zero Dawn will be coming to PC soon. Set for a summer 2020 release, the title originally launched on the PS4 back in 2017. The open-world monster hunting game would go on to receive critical acclaim and even receive an expansion pack titled The Frozen Wilds later in the year. While we can’t confirm if Horizon will be heading to the Epic Games Store, a Steam store page exists for you to wishlist the title....

As we all sit in isolation and play video games, we’re all wondering one thing: how in the world does Nintendo have the audacity to force ARMS into relevancy in 2020? It’s absurd, we know this, it shouldn’t be relevant, but here we are now, this is the world that we live in. It’s a shame, but if Nintendo is going to attempt to make ARMS relevant, they can easily do the same with a franchise that actually deserves it, Splatoon....
