Of all the side quests in Skryim, No Stone Unturned may be the longest and most annoying to complete. While the reward for completion of this quest is pretty good, as the player is given the Prowler’s Profit power that provides a much bigger chance of finding gemstones, the process of receiving this reward makes many people simply ignore the quest altogether. Thankfully, the quest isn’t all that hard if the player knows where to go and what to do....

During the Sony E3 2017 press conference, the company surprised everyone by announcing Skyrim VR for its PlayStation VR headset. Fans are excited to play as the Dragonborn in first person, but those on non-PS VR headsets could be waiting a while to play it. Following the E3 presentation, it was confirmed by Sony that Skyrim VR will actually be a timed exclusive to the PlayStation VR headset. While it’s currently unclear how long this period of timed exclusivity will last, Sony is clearly betting big on its virtual reality gaming business in order to carve out a deal like that with Skyrim publisher Bethesda....

SonicFox, five-time EVO champion and all-round fighting game legend, has been immortalized in Skullgirls as an NPC. The NPC is based off their fursona, which most Esports followers should already be familiar with. SonicFox can be found in a variation of the Class Notes stage, chilling next to a blackboard and grinning as you train by beating the snot out of another character. SonicFox made several Twitter posts thanking the Skullgirls team and animator and pixel artist @SuckMyJones for the inclusion of their NPC....

Sony has had a rough time quelling fans’ anger since the launch of Fortnite on the Switch, which lacks crossplay support with the PS4 due to Sony’s policies. The issue isn’t necessarily that gamers can’t play with their friends on certain platforms, though that is another complaint, but that Epic accounts linked to PSN accounts can’t be used on the Switch, blocking progress for players that wish to use both. Now, Sony boss Shawn Layden has commented on the issue, instilling hope that Sony may find a solution in time....

Deviation Games is a new, independent studio that’s working on a brand new IP for PlayStation. We know absolutely nothing about the game, but thanks to a new interview with Eurogamer, we do know how PlayStation prefers to go about acquiring new IPs. Unlike Microsoft, which has no problem dropping $7.5 billion on a studio even as large as Bethesda, Sony prefers to pay for IPs rather than studios. Sony has posted its financial results for the second quarter of 2011, which ended September 30. Sales for both the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Portable increased over the previous quarter. However, Sony’s Consumer Products and Services division, responsible for the PlayStation and PSP, posted a drop in sales revenue and an operating loss. Sony is the latest in a string of Japanese games companies to post disappointing financial results for the previous quarter, following Nintendo’s massive losses and SEGA Sammy’s 83% decline in profits....

The best-selling games of the past 12 months in the US have been revealed, and the order of the entries might come as quite a shock to some people. In spite of the pandemic causing delays to game development and console availability, the video game industry has been spoiled over the past 12 months. Speculation is already underway as to be expected, with many assuming that it’s a reference to him being ’trapped’ in the multiverse, while others simply believe it to be a reference to the fact that he’s on the run and he can’t get home because… well, he’ll get arrested....

Tom Holland has revealed that the sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home will begin filming soon. The star of Marvel’s Spider-Man films explained that filming is planned to be complete by February of 2021. While these things are always subject to change given the uncertain state of the global pandemic, Tom Holland has said that for the time being he is scheduled to complete his filming of the planned Uncharted movie, and then move on to his next big Spider-Man project for Marvel....
