A couple of years ago, some fake promotional art teased that Capcom’s famous survival-horror franchise Resident Evil would be coming to Netflix as a TV series. Those rumors proved to be false, and the art in question turned out to be little more than an edited poster for Disney’s The Haunted Mansion. However, it now seems that a Netflix adaptation of Resident Evil is actually in the works. This comes from an exclusive report by Deadline, which claims that the Resident Evil Netflix series will be produced by Constantin Film, the same production company behind the divisive film adaptations....

The ornate environments, bewitching characters, and eerie atmosphere of Resident Evil: Village continue to captivate, and a new IGN-exclusive five-minute gameplay showcase provides yet another peek at what series fans will be in for when the game drops in early May. Illumination has just released a cast list for Sing 2, the sequel to hit movie Sing. PlayStation boss Scott Rohde confirms that Sony won’t retire the Infamous franchise, but remains aloof on what Sucker Punch Productions are currently working on. The Infamous series has always had a big following, although it ironically isn’t often counted among Sony’s highest selling franchises. Last year, Infamous: Second Son was able to achieve great sales back when the PlayStation 4 closed in on being just 6 months old, no doubt helped by launching in a window with almost no immediate competition on rival consoles, and the fact that the game itself came highly polished and highly acclaimed....

Compared to the previously-released remakes of Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2, the new Resident Evil 3 is somewhat light on puzzles. Traversing Raccoon City Police Department in RE2, for example, involves constant backtracking to find numerous keys and gems to unlock various doors and pathways. In what seems to be at least a nod to the puzzle style of its predecessor, Resident Evil 3 does include one puzzle box near the beginning of the game (which, to be fair, is also a modified recreation of a puzzle from the original) that needs three colored jewels to open....

SteamDB shows a peculiar page update that includes the artwork in question.
