Video game publisher Square Enix officially announces the release date of Rise of the Tomb Raider’s PlayStation 4 version and confirms its support for PlayStation VR. Not long from now, Rise of the Tomb Raider’s Xbox One timed-exclusivity contract is set to end, as Square Enix has revealed that the game will finally be released for the PlayStation 4 on October 11 in a new 20 Year Celebration edition. Additionally, the publisher has revealed that the forthcoming PS4 version of Rise of the Tomb Raider will have “a completely new story chapter entitled Blood Ties....

Hopoo Games’ 3D multiplayer roguelike Risk of Rain 2 has been in early access since March 2019, and has released on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One in that time. After seeing a delay in May to focus on optimizing the game, Risk of Rain 2 is planning to leave early access with its 1.0 patch this August, and apparently when it does it will be receiving a price increase....

As players wait for Halo Infinite to finally release, 343 Industries continues to drip feed fans with new images of weapons, multiplayer maps, and armor they can expect to find in the new game. However, while showing off Halo Infinite’s new Bulldog Shotgun, the developer might have revealed a vehicle that could be making its first appearance since Halo: Reach. A number of players have noticed the new vehicle already, with Reddit user MonsterWer01 posting the find to r/halo and receiving over 13,000 upvotes as of this writing....

The amount of villains from Batman’s rogues gallery is enormous in Batman: Arkham City. However, some of the villains that were teased in the lead-up to the game’s release have only minor cameos with small amounts of dialogue, or they are only mentioned in ambient conversations. Someone like Black Mask, for example. Therefore, wouldn’t it be nice if Black Mask’s story in Arkham City were more fleshed out? What if he was a boss that had to be defeated and had an entire side mission associated with him?...
