A recent Square Enix patent might be priming the developer to step back into the strategy genre with a new deck based game involving multiple bases and command of a given play area. Whether or not this is related to recent patents or trademarks filed by Square Enix is still up in the air, but fans of the developer’s previous strategy titles may be interested in some of the wording of this new repot....

There’s a reason they call it Resident Evil Village, although there certainly appears to be a lot more to this “village” than just a few dilapidated buildings. It’s been almost 16 years since Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance was released. Why raise this topic now? Soren used to be my favorite character, not only from this game, but out of any video game franchise. I absolutely adored his cynicism and his blunt way of speaking. I’d just like to get it out there right away that they completely miscast Michael Cera in the role of Scott Pilgrim. Scott is an absolute asshole who’s completely oblivious to his own assholery, whereas Michael Cera’s portrayal made him an ignorant but still loveable doofus that somehow wound up getting the girl in the end....
There has been growing unrest surrounding the Sea of Thieves fan base practically since the game launched, and things came to a head this week when one player hit Pirate Legend status.
