Atlus recently announced that it will enforce strict guidelines for streaming Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne: HD Remaster, as it doesn’t want players showing footage of the final boss or end of any of the routes in the game, even though it’s 17 years old. Nocturne HD is a remastered version of a game that was originally released for the PS2 back in 2003. It starts in contemporary Japan, just as the world is ending and a variety of monsters from mythology are brought to life....

Bungie reveals that a number of fan-favorite Exotics and Legendary weapons in Destiny are making a comeback in the April Update at the new Year 2 power levels. Destiny fans who have some favorite weapons from the first year of Destiny may be happy to hear that a number of the popular Exotics and Legendary weapons from Destiny’s Year 1 will be updated to new Year 2 power levels. Once the April Update hits on April 12, players will be able to earn this updated gear....

After a release full of bugs and quality problems, Cyberpunk 2077 players are finally starting to become fed up, and they have begun asking for refunds from Sony. Surprisingly, it appears that Sony has started giving into these demands and issuing refunds – but only in very specific circumstances. Cyberpunk 2077 has been in development since the early 2010s. It was announced in May of 2012 alongside The Witcher 3 and was immediately highly anticipated due to its setting in the popular Night City, a staple of the Cyberpunk RPG universe....

Since the first reveal of Ghost of Tsushima at E3 2018, excitement has been surrounding the title. Initial trailers have set up a beautiful samurai world based in the 13th century Japan and as a result, the game has been one of the most anticipated of the year. This anticipation looks set to build after Shu Yoshida published his comments on the game. Ghost of Tsushima is being developed by Sucker Punch Productions who achieved considerable acclaim for the Infamous game series and this new project looks set to be a thematic departure from previous titles from the company....

It goes without saying that Shenmue 3 came as a huge surprise when it was revealed during Sony’s E3 2015 press conference last week. Even more interesting was Shenmue 3 creator Yu Suzuki’s announcement that his studio Ys Net would be raising money for the game via Kickstarter while also working in cooperation with Sony to ensure that Shenmue 3 gets made. While the project went on to become successfully funded, as the title reached its goal in 9 hours, many fans of the classic Dreamcast-spawned series were still left wondering exactly how the crowdsourced money would be allocated, and whether or not Sony and fellow partner Shibuya Productions would be receiving any of it....

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Village will feature at Tokyo Game Show 2020. After the chilling unveiling of Resident Evil Village during Sony’s PS5 event, fans of the franchise have been eager to see more. The gaming community was expecting to get more information on Resident Evil’s tenth main installment in August, but Capcom has pushed the reveal back to coincide with TGS. Capcom’s two-day web event will be hosted as part of the Tokyo Game Show, featuring Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition on day one and Resident Evil Village on day two....

AMD has partnered with Capcom to bring ray tracing and AMD FidelityFX to Resident Evil Village on PC. The announcement included a new highlight reel, showing off the enhanced visual effects in action. Ray tracing is becoming an increasingly popular technique in the world of gaming, providing realistic optical effects that produce soft shadows, improved ambient occlusion, and various other next-gen effects. AMD FidelityFX is a lesser-known technique, but one that’s still surprisingly powerful....

Even despite its lack of a single player campaign, Titanfall has established its hold as one of the biggest titles of the year. With the popular Adult Swim cartoon Rick and Morty’s third season slated for a release date this summer, it looks as if the show’s creators have been working on a plethora of cross-promotional wares for video games to advertise the program’s next run of shows, with several titles such as Rocket League receiving content based on the animated series. Not only will Psyonix’s vehicular soccer video game be getting content based on the cartoon, but also the likes of Gang Beasts, Move or Die, and Steam VR Home have been tapped to get assets dedicated to the Adult Swim show as well....

Riot Games is firing on all cylinders in 2020. Valorant, the studio’s online multiplayer FPS, is now in closed beta and Legends of Runeterra, its competitive card game, is in open beta and launches at the end of the month. Now Riot’s made another huge announcement, confirming the acquisition of Hytale developer Hypixel Studios. Hypixels Studios, for those who aren’t familiar, is a very young studio.
