The developers behind mobile RPG Sky: Children of the Light have announced the final donation results of their most recent charities from earlier this year. Thatgamecompany’s newest mobile game title Sky: Children of the Light, which recently celebrated 20 million downloads, hosted charity initiatives for both Earth Day and Covid-19 relief funds back in April and May with rewards for those who contributed to the causes. Both charities operated via the mobile game, with in-game purchases that would offer the player something in return for their efforts....

Sonic the Hedgehog will be making his feature film debut on Nov. 15, 2019. Paramount Pictures this week confirmed the film’s release date, cementing the picture as a fall family contender. Sega first announced Sonic’s feature film back in February 2016. Later that year, Neil H. Moritz signed on as producer and Deadpool director Tim Miller joined in as executive producer. Jeff Fowler will be making his directorial debut with the picture, while the movie’s script comes from the creators of the Fox Animated show Golan the Insatiable, Pat Casey and Josh Miller....

Insomniac Games is well known for being the developer of Marvel’s Spider-Man, the Resistance series, and the upcoming Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Needless to say, they make some pretty good video games. That’s likely why Sony made an effort to acquire them back in 2019. As a result of that acquisition, Insomniac primarily makes games for the PS4 and PS5. However, there was an oh-so-brief moment in time where Insomniac made a title exclusively for the Xbox One....

For many gamers, the highlight of E3 2013 wasn’t some hot new IP, flashy tech-demo or long-awaited sequel; it was just a man, on a stage, telling people exactly what they wanted to hear. Sherry Birkin doesn’t have the easiest of lives, even for someone in the Resident Evil universe. She’s involved in multiple outbreaks, her family life is difficult, and at one point, she gets infected with a deadly virus. Yet, the girl is tough and manages to overcome all of her obstacles. This is particularly impressive as she has to face most of her hardships as a child. However, despite this, the character doesn’t get the same recognition as others....

There are some new puzzles to solve in the creation of a special vaccine for the T-Virus. After Carlos finds a single vial of the vaccine to save Jill in the hospital, Jill then ventures into NEST 2 to find another so that it can be reproduced and, hopefully, prevent Raccoon City from getting bombed....

Almost two years ago, Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment announced that it is working on a Star Wars game. Almost no details have been revealed about the project so far (it doesn’t even have a name), but the game’s publisher Electronic Arts (EA) has now confirmed the game’s release window. During its latest earnings call, EA confirmed that Respawn’s Star Wars game is expected to release some time during the 2020 fiscal year....

Director Ridley Scott confirmed a new Alien film is still in development. However, the filmmaker hinted that his plans for the franchise may have to be revised after the underwhelming reception towards Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. Over thirty years after directing Alien, Ridley Scott returned to helm a prequel titled Prometheus after other filmmakers directed the three sequels that followed the original science-fiction horror classic. Released in 2012, Prometheus offered insight into the origins of the iconic Xenomorph and was followed by a sequel titled Alien: Covenant, which featured the creature in a more prominent role and was more narratively similar to the previous installments of the franchise....
