As Microsoft continues to grow its Game Pass empire, it appears the Xbox manufacturer is setting its sights on Ubisoft as the next addition to the service, if a new rumor is to be believed. Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda and parent company ZeniMax Media was finalized this past week, bringing incredibly successful and beloved franchises like Wolfenstein, Fallout, Doom, Elder Scrolls, and more under its Xbox Game Studios umbrella. Microsoft also managed to work out a deal with AAA publisher EA where Game Pass subscribers also get full access to EA’s own subscription service, EA Play....

With just weeks to go before the release date is unveiled for Final Fantasy 15, a number of sources reveal that the game is apparently scheduled for launch on September 30. To say that the last ten years has been quite the odyssey for Final Fantasy 15 is probably a bit of an understatement. After a prolonged and troubled development period – which included rebranding and almost restarting the game from scratch – Square Enix is finally pulling back the curtains on Final Fantasy 15’s release date at a March special event....

Both Collection of SaGa and SaGa Frontier Remastered have exceeded Square Enix’s sales expectations and the producers are keen to do more. Cheryl Mason goes by many different names, and appears frequently throughout the Silent Hill series. She first appears as the adoptive child of Harry Mason in the original Silent Hill for Playstation, when she goes missing in the titular town after being involved in a car crash with Harry. Later in the series, she reappears as the main character of Silent Hill 3, under the alias Heather Mason. In addition to being one of the most significant characters in the entire series, Cheryl’s identity is very complex....

While the central story of Skyrim focuses on the return of the dragons and the threat that Alduin brings with him, the arguably more interesting questline in the game involves the Civil War between the Stormcloaks and the Imperials, with the rebellion’s leader, Ulfric, being particularly interesting. Empty spots discovered via a data mine of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate hints at an unannounced third Fighters Pass. Pyra and Mythra officially joined the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster last week. That leaves two more spots open on the current Fighters Pass. The final two additions will be announced before the end of 2021. According to Smash director Masahiro Sakurai, that will be it for this chapter of the franchise, and there will not be a third Fighters Pass....

What’s in a name? A good title can allow your product to stand out in the marketplace and attract consumers. One of the most highly anticipated downloadable games of the summer, Carrion, is now available. The Devolver Digital-published horror game launched released on Thursday, July 23, on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. To coincide with Carrion’s release, Devolver and developer Phobia Game Studio put together an awesome animated trailer introducing the game’s premise. Carrion is being described as a reverse horror game, in that instead of playing as the victims of a horror event players take on the role of the monster itself....
