Both of Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man titles have been generally well-received by critics and fans alike, garnering high Metacritic scores. Spider-Man: Miles Morales has avoided the dreaded sophomore slump, so much so that many fans of the game believe Miles Morales deserves a full Spider-Man sequel....

Spider-Man Remastered is a gorgeous recreation of the 2018 game, adding in ray-tracing, improved lighting, DualSense functionality, and many other technical improvements. Riot Games has released the first competitive rules and policies handbook for VALORANT esports ahead of the First Strike event. The rulebook comes from Alex Francois, the head of competitive operations for VALORANT esports. The rules and policies outlined in the document will “serve as the cornerstones of VALORANT esports.” The blog post, written by Francois, states that feedback from players, fans, and tournament organizers has been “invaluable in helping [Riot] identify the necessary structures to ensure the current, and future, competitive integrity of our sport....

One of the three Star Wars movies officially in active development, Rogue Squadron, has been delayed. According to THR, the Patty Jenkins-directed project was set to begin pre-production later this year and go in front of cameras sometime in 2022. But now, per the outlet, the project is being put on the back burner because of other commitments on the part of Jenkins. It’s not clear if writer Matthew Robinson will stay attached to the movie....
