Ever since the release of the first Dragon Quest game in 1986, the Japanese role-playing franchise has become a household name at Square Enix, and is one of its longest-running video game series. The last entry in the franchise, Dragon Quest 11, was just released a couple of years ago in Japan and less than a year everywhere else, and received mostly positive reviews. Given the short period of time since that game’s launch, it appeared that Square Enix would not be talking about Dragon Quest anytime soon....

Publisher and developer Capcom reveals plans to release free DLC for all players of its forthcoming survival-horror title, Resident Evil 7, in the spring of this year. Just a couple of days ago, Resident Evil 7’s Season Pass details were revealed to show that fans will be privy to at least seven different DLC drops throughout the duration of 2017, as they are to be released in the form of two volumes of “banned footage” that contain three episodes each, as well as an additional story episode....

San Francisco Mayor London Breed recently allowed the city’s movie theaters to reopen, albeit with some restrictions. Those caveats apparently went too far in the eyes of the theater owners, resulting in the National Association of Theatre Owners of California/Nevada (NATO of CA/NV) collectively refusing to reopen. After cautiously choosing not to allow the reopening of theaters as quickly as other cities during the most of 2020, Mayor Breed finally relented with the stipulation that theaters would be banned from selling concessions....
