It seems that a select few current-gen games will be able to reach native 4K on the Xbox Series X, even if their developers don’t decide to optimize them for next-gen machinery. The news comes from a hands-on preview recently published over at GameSpot, which featured details on Xbox Series X load times, Xbox Series X cross-gen multiplayer with Xbox One, and lots more. According to the report, any current-gen games that use dynamic resolution have the potential to reach 4K on Xbox Series X, meaning that their visual fidelity can theoretically be enhanced by the power of the console alone....

Fans of Spider-Man: Miles Morales have some new collectibles to look forward to as Hot Toys has announced new 1/6th scale Cosbaby figures featuring Miles and his Spider-Man adventures through New York City. Featuring Miles in his red and black classic outfit, each Cosbaby figure displays Miles in classic Spider-Man poses and features his unique powers that also appeared in the newly released game. The Cosbaby figures are designed to be easily displayed via magnets that support Miles in his various action poses and the classic bobble-head look used in Cosbaby collectibles....

Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man: Miles Morales had one of the biggest showcases during today’s PlayStation 5 event. After displaying PS5 gameplay with Miles Morales, the segment ended with a slate saying it would launch “holiday 2020.” However, Insomniac followed-up on Twitter by announcing the game will be a launch title for the PS5, while also releasing on the PS4. The price and release date for the PS5 were announced during today’s event, letting fans know that the $499 console and its $399 digital-only edition will be available in select regions starting November 12, and in the rest of the world on November 19....

In a brand new trailer today, it was revealed that Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher will be joining the cast of Ghost Recon Breakpoint next week.
