After announcing the Overwatch League would be cancelling all their live events and moving to an online format for the imminent future, the league took to YouTube in a special Watchpoint detailing the plans for the league going forward. After a break in week six to get things settled, the league will return this upcoming weekend and the Seoul Dynasty will make their 2020 season debut as they face the San Francisco Shock in the first online match for the league....

Pokémon Trainers have a lot to look forward in a few months as the newest Galar TCG expansion, Champion’s Path, is set to hit shelves on September 25th. The expansion will feature over 70 cards, recently discovered pokémon in the Galar region, three Pokémon VMAX, 11 Pokémon V including four full-art Pokémon V cards and more. Unlike Darkness Ablaze’s roughly 200 new cards, the Champion’s Path expansion is on the smaller side with over 70 cards....

EA’s long-dormant Burnout series might be making a comeback soon, as Sony has been spotted asking about it in a recent survey. The Burnout series hasn’t been seen since 2008’s fantastic Burnout: Paradise, but fans are hoping that it might make a comeback after a Sony survey asked if players recognised the series. Insomniac’s beautifully made Spider-Man game for the PlayStation 4 may have only been out for a few days, but that doesn’t mean the game hasn’t had time to smash some previous sales records. In fact, it’s the new fastest selling game of 2018, at least in the UK. This means Spider-Man has uprooted the previous record holder Far Cry 5, which reached first week sales figures of $310 million. Spider-Man has taken its place as the new king, at least until another giant, highly-anticipated game comes along to dethrone it- which will likely be Red Dead Redemption 2....

Releasing alongside the PlayStation 5 on November 12, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will bring the 2018 PS4 hit to the next-generation with updated visuals and loading times. It will also feature a new actor portraying Peter Parker, swapping out the original model for one who better fits Yuri Lowenthal’s voice delivery. Although it wasn’t originally planned, it seems players will also now be able to transfer their Marvel’s Spider-Man saves from the PlayStation 4 to the PlayStation 5....

It’s been a rough road for Marvel’s Avengers following the game’s launch back in September. While fans were drawn in by the game’s campaign and well written story following Kamala Kahn’s attempt to reunite the Avengers after the devastating events of A-Day, the live service model that serves as the foundation of the game is proving to be problematic. Not only have players ran into a number of bugs and game breaking technical issues, many of which are still being addressed, but the end game content doesn’t appear to be satisfying many players....

The zombies and giant mutated monsters are definitely the highlights of the Resident Evil series. They range from small and fast to massive and intense. They’re easily the best enemies to contend with throughout the entire franchise. What about the villains? Almost every Resident Evil game has featured a main antagonist acting as a mastermind or pawn. This is where it’s usually the flip of a coin: either the villain is a standout character in the series or they are laughably over the top....

Back in September, Netflix launched the teaser trailer for their upcoming anime series, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. The 54-second teaser showed the high-quality animation of the new series, but didn’t reveal the voice actors behind Claire Redfield or Leon Kennedy. This led many to speculate on who would be behind the two iconic characters. Netflix decided to end the speculation by announcing that the voice actors for Claire and Leon from Resident Evil 2: Remake will reprise their roles for the series....

Several days ago, Capcom released the highly-anticipated remake of Resident Evil 3, which puts players in the role of STARS officer Jill Valentine and her desperate escape from Raccoon City. In the first ten minutes of the game alone, it is pretty obvious that Capcom has been more liberal in introducing changes and shuffling events in Resident Evil 3 remake, as compared to last year’s more faithful reimagining of Resident Evil 2....

The short but sweet Resident Evil 3 Remake takes players on quite the journey, though as they blast zombies, avoid Nemesis, and explore the Raccoon City streets, players will eventually need to find a pair of bolt cutters to advance further. However, they can be fairly difficult to discover, as Resident Evil 3 features quite a few open areas where they could be hiding. The bolt cutters will help players get through an early portion of the game, but can be discarded before too long, freeing up some precious inventory space....

Resident Evil 3 Remake, still fresh from release in April, has successfully continued to enrich the Resident Evil universe by recreating past installments of the series.
