Despite its mass popularity, Outriders has not seen the greatest launch. Though it may not have reached the disappointment level of the Cyberpunk 2077 release, many fans have still been frustrated or even outraged at how badly the servers for Outriders have functioned. In fact, a lot of time, people couldn’t even play the game at all due to server issues. The worst of the problem has been cross play between PC and consoles, which almost guaranteed that someone would get disconnected....

Cyberpunk 2077 has an extensive character creation system. You can customize V down to the literal teeth, including a specific slider for V’s genitals. Yes, you can customize your hog in Cyberpunk regardless of which version of V you select at the very beginning. So it’s no surprise that a whole category of memes has erupted from Cyberpunk’s character creator. Although none of these are technically possible in-game, people have shopped Hide the Pain Harold, Hitler, Mark Zuckerberg, Peter Griffin, and even Handsome Squidward into Cyberpunk 2077....

According to a new report from Digitimes, Sony has shipped 3.4 million PS5 units in its first four weeks of availability, making it the most successful PlayStation console ever. It is estimated that the company will ship between 16.8 and 18 million units in 2021 since production has been recently accelerated. AMD, which is responsible for manufacturing the PS5’s customized 7nm CPU, has reportedly secured additional production capacity from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, enabling production partners to meet demand for the console....

Nacon announced today that RoboCop: Rogue City, a new first-person shooter with an original story, is in development at Teyon. The Polish company previously developed Terminator: Resistance, which was poorly received by critics but has gained a cult following since its 2019 release. The publisher unveiled the game with a teaser trailer at its Nacon Connect showcase. It’s set to launch on PC and consoles in 2023. According to a press release from Nacon, the game is based on the first three movies in the series....

Batman Arkham developer Rocksteady Studios has been working on its new game for some time and according to a new rumor, it may be ready to reveal it this week. The new game may be called Outlaws and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive is gearing up for a major marketing push for the title. Originally posted on 4Chan before being reposted to ResetERA and being passed around on social media is a “teaser” image that says that Outlaws will have its “World Premiere” on April 26 (this Friday)....

RuneScape, a free-to-play MMO, rolled out on mobile devices for the first time in its two-decade run earlier this week. With the launch, Jagex also announced that the game would support cross-platform play and cross-progression. What this means is that you can play on the same account as the same character, keeping everything you’ve done on one platform when leaping to the other. If you go from Android or iOS to PC, you’ll pick up where you left off....

While Elon Musk likes to have fun by trolling game companies, there are times when his work is the subject of controversy. A recent report states that Russia may be looking to fine citizens for using Starlink internet, which was set up by his space program SpaceX in 2018. As well as fining regular users, the Russian government may also be looking to punish companies that use Starlink. While citizens can expect to be fined between 10,000 and 30,000 rubles (around $135-$405 US), businesses may have to pay up to one million rubles (just over $13,000 US)....
