With the Batman Arkham series wrapped up and in the past, comic book fans have been anxiously waiting for the next big super-hero action game to arrive. Although it’s still running a bit behind schedule, Insomniac’s PS4-exclusive Spider-Man title looks like it is ready to deliver in a big way when it does arrive. Sony’s Paris Games Week has kicked off with a bang and the show didn’t waste any time getting right to what is arguably the PS4’s most exciting upcoming exclusive game....

Square Enix launches a teaser website for a brand new RPG, Cosmos Rings, which will be an Apple Watch exclusive game and a spin-off of the Chaos Rings series. As a publisher, Square Enix has its hands in many pots, but even with its extensive history in mobile games, no one would have guessed they would enter into the Apple Watch market – at least, not this late in the game....

Nier Replicant’s remake is just around the corner, and Square Enix has picked up the pace on promotional material. After going live with new clips for Japanese fans, you can now check out the opening sequence to Nier Replicant’s shot-for-shot remake in this latest English video. On Twitter, Square Enix mentioned that the new footage mirrored the old opening sequence from the 2010 version. It’s a shot-for-shot revamp, boasting improved graphics, new music, and fresh voice recordings....

Returnal’s latest patch contains a number of fixes for some of the game’s minor problems, although there’s still no news of a potential save system. Returnal is an excellent game that is very well-polished for the most part, but even the best-built games need patches. The game’s latest 1.1.3 patch has fixed a number of smaller issues that have been irritating a minority of players over the past week. According to the patch notes (via Gamespot), these fixes include trophy bugs and even increases the number of scout corpses to help players find those elusive Scout Logs....

Riot Games is preparing to release its first single-player title, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, in early 2021. The Divine Child is an important NPC in the world of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, the latest title from Dark Souls developer From Software. While the game’s already gained a reputation for its particularly brutal enemies and boss fights, the Divine Child is much more helpful, gifting the Mortal Blade to any players that find her and offer Rice (a Vitality restoring item) when asked. But if a player requests Rice multiple times, she in turn will make a request of them to find a Persimmon (an item that restores Posture), which some may find a bit tricky if they don’t know where to look....

Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn took Indiegogo by storm in 2014, receiving $458,000 in funding and was originally slated to release on PC and a variety of different consoles, including the Wii U.
