While this week brought a rumor that Dead Rising 3 would see the return of original hero Frank West to his zombie-smashing ways, a new competing rumor has surfaced that suggests not only will DR3 not star West, but it will be set in a new location. Only connected to a source from Siliconera, this rumor claims that Frank West, and Chuck Greene, would be relegated to the sidelines, replaced by Rick, and auto mechanic fighting to survive in the fictional city of Los Perdidos, California....

Today is the last day of Comic-Con 2011 in San Diego, and while the action starts to wind down there are still a few pieces of new gaming-related news to come from the event. The latest comes from an individual who claims they were invited to a behind-closed-doors session with Capcom at SDCC. While the individual was there Capcom allegedly detailed Resident Evil 6 to the handful of people in the room....

Borderlands 3 will reportedly not be shown at E3 this year. According to Shacknews, a Gearbox representative confirmed to a crowd of journalists that the popular franchise would not have a “presence” at the convention. Gearbox itself will have other games to show at E3, but not anything related to the first-person shooter franchise. This news comes in contrast of recent rumors pointing towards E3 for Borderlands 3’s debut. While the next major title in the Borderlands franchise has yet to be officially announced in any capacity, Gearbox and specifically CEO Randy Pitchford have made clear that a sequel is in the works....

Masahiro Sakurai has explained the legal issues that have prevented more Final Fantasy songs from appearing in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in the past, during the recent Sephiroth presentation. Soda Dungeon 2 is out in Early Access on Google Play, with the rest of us having to wait until July to play it. Soda Dungeon was originally released back in 2015 for mobile. Perhaps jumping on the Lady Dimitrescu bandwagon, a Silent Hill fan bought the silenthill.com domain and used it to point out that Pyramid Head is also very tall, and he came first. Ever since Resident Evil art director Tomonori Takano confirmed that Resident Evil Village villain Lady Dimitrescu is nine-and-a-half feet tall, people haven’t been able to get enough of this freakishly tall lady. “Most recently, Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters have received a fair amount of attention, far more than we anticipated,” Takano said....

It’s been a little over a week since Sony officially unveiled the PS4, their next-gen console that features substantially improved system specs, exciting new features, and some intriguing new titles.
