It’s been over half a year since Bethesda announced their new sci-fi IP, Starfield, at E3 2018, which had been a source of intrigue for years following a mysterious registered trademark. Volition’s action-adventure open world Saints Row series gained a foothold in the mid-2000s and has not gone away since. Musician Eddie Van Halen, lead guitarist for the band Van Halen, died from complications due to cancer on Tuesday, October 6, according to TMZ. He first confirmed his cancer diagnosis in 2001, according to Billboard, and his passing has no doubt had a huge effect on many fans of the American rock band. Someday You’ll Return released earlier this month to a rather lukewarm reception - with a 2.5 out of 5-Star rating coming from TheGamer. Sony’s kept all PlayStation 5 news very secret so far. Both the PS5 console itself and the console’s launch line-up remain mysteries. But that may soon be changing. A new report claims that a PlayStation event is happening very soon, with tentative plans to hold it on June 3. The report comes from Jason Schreier and Takashi Mochizuki at Bloomberg, who cite “people with direct knowledge of the matter.” According to the report, Sony is planning a virtual event for June 3 which will focus on showcasing games for the PS5....

Sony reveals sales of more PlayStation 4 consoles last quarter than any quarter in history, with each holiday quarter seeing an increase in shipments the last few years. When Microsoft beat out Sony in console sales for four months in a row last year, many in the industry saw it as a shift in the console war. Sony has declined confirmation as it pertains to whether or not Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be available for the PlayStation 4 in the wake of the game’s announcement.
