It’s finally time to uninstall EA Origins because Apex Legends is available to pre-load on Steam just in time for Season 7. The game client bubble seems to have finally burst now that EA has given their biggest multiplayer game over to Steam. While an Origin account will still be required to play, Apex is now available for download directly through the Steam game client. The 31.4 GB download will unlock tomorrow, November 4....

Shadow the Hedgehog was originally going to be rated T until the ESRB created a new rating less than a year before its release. Shadow the Hedgehog might well be one of the more underrated Sonic games of the past 20 years. Looking back on it now, it’s hard to believe Shadow was even a part of the Sonic universe. The game is far grittier and more real than any other Sonic game to have come before or since....
Redlock Studio’s third-person open-world adventure game Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King started out as a Kickstarter campaign in 2016. An ambitious dark fantasy title that offers Souls-like combat combined with platforming, the PC-only game will exit Early Access on February 17, 2021. Available on Steam, Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King has earned a Mostly Positive rating from players during its time in Early Access, which began in June 2019....

Spider-Man PS4 has been a highly-anticipated PlayStation exclusive developed by Insomniac Games, creators of Ratchet and Clank and Sunset Overdrive, in partnership with Sony. The game is the first Spider-Man game on current-generation consoles and will be set in its “own world”, one that Insomniac is creating for itself. Square Enix has rebranded some of its Final Fantasy mobile titles to include the subtitle “3D Remake”, hinting that classic 2D versions of the games are coming soon. This was spotted by Shaun Musgrave on Twitter, who has a folder containing all of the Final Fantasy mobile ports on iOS. You can see from their screenshot that Final Fantasy 3 and Final Fantasy 4 are the games that have been rebranded, and they now read as being “3D Remakes”....
The Resident Evil series has several interesting characters. Even supporting characters often have their own story and personality. Ada and Rebecca were two remarkable characters of the first two games that players got to control for a while. In Resident Evil 3, we have Carlos Oliveira. Carlos is a charming, tough, cocky mercenary who first appears working for Umbrella. He was only in a couple of spinoff games, but his debut was more than enough to cause an impression....
From what we saw at E3 2018, it looks as though the upcoming Resident Evil 2 remake will be a faithful retelling of the 1998 survival-horror classic. To that end, the trailers featured up-close looks at some returning characters and monsters, with the exception of the mysterious Ada Wong. However, while Ada Wong wasn’t given a proper reveal at E3, there is one character from the PlayStation Showcase trailer who is almost certainly her....
Resident Evil Village is officially launching on May 7 for PC, current-gen, and last-gen consoles – minus Nintendo Switch. Capcom broke the news during today’s Resident Evil livestream, giving us a closer look at the highly anticipated game. Before the event, Capcom had only mentioned Resident Evil Village was scheduled to launch in 2021. Fans have been on the edge of their seat for the past few months, waiting for a true reveal from Capcom....
Plug & Play, by artist Michael Frei and programmer Mario von Rickenbach of Etter Studio, has garnered lots of positive attention since its March 5th release on Steam. This is pretty surprising given its art-house minimalism and 15 minutes of playtime. True, the game is based on a lauded, experimental short film, and it does capture a lot of the raw realities of being human—love, rejection, excretion, intercourse, and messy relationships....
