Last April, developer Ubisoft released the final DLC track for Rocksmith Remastered, after continuously supporting the game for nearly five years. Of course, shortly after Ubisoft released the final track for the remaster, players have wondered what’s next for the franchise. Samsung is expected to announce its new flagship phone lineup in just a couple of weeks and now the company has taken the wraps off the camera sensor that is likely to power the Galaxy S23 Ultra. That sensor is the latest ISOCELL offering from Samsung, dubbed the HP2, with Samsung saying that it has managed to fit into the same package as the previous 108-megapixel offering. The company goes on to claim that it means people will benefit from even better photos without having to make phones even thicker....

The head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, says that the decision to cancel Platinum Games’ action-RPG Scalebound was “difficult” but that it’s a decision that is “better for Xbox gamers.” Yesterday, Microsoft stunned gamers by revealing that Scalebound has been cancelled. After confirming that the highly anticipated action-RPG – which had been scheduled to release on PC and Xbox One sometime this year – had been canned, Microsoft was quick to remove all of the trailers for the game off of the web too....

This has been a busy week for Hearthstone around the world. For starters, the Scholomance Academy launch occurred with only a minimal number of issues. On August 7, Blizzard released a small server-side hotfix for both Mindrender Illucia, who would sometimes permanently swap both players’ hands and decks rather than for only a turn, and Drakkari Enchanter, who was causing game crashes with secrets triggering at the end of turn....

We’re just under a month away from Shadow And Bone debuting on streaming service Netflix, so it’s time for a new trailer. Sometimes, it can be hard to turn a profit as a gaming company, while pre-orders help see where a game stand stands in terms of pre-release hype. While this may not have a complete impact on the game, it will send signals to the developers and publishing company. After all, there are instances of tons of hype that works out in terms of number of pre-orders, there are instances where low numbers can indicate a game’s current popularity, and there are insane instances where pre-orders and quality don’t line up, with Cyberpunk 2077 and the hassle of the Walmart PS5 pre-order mayhem being prime examples....
