Much to the disappointment of Rocket League fans, developer Psyonix confirms that the upcoming Xbox One port for the sports game will not contain cross-platform play. Psyonix announces that Season 2 of Rocket League’s revamped online mode begins this December with a new Rocket Pass, more rewards, and some challenges for players to complete. Part of the recently-revamped season mode and push toward Rocket League’s free-to-play model, Season 2 will provide fans with a new goalpost to reach as more than 70 tiers of player levels will be available to unlock. Season 2 introduces a new customizable aspect to the game with the addition of Player Anthems, unlockable music that plays once a goal is scored....
Sci-fi turn-based strategy great Age of Wonders: Planetfall recently received the Star Kings expansion, allowing you to join the new Oathbound faction and take to the battlefield in a giant battle mech. A brand new campaign follows the Oathbound in, along with new Grail Configurations, and three new wildlife groups. Sniper Ghost Warrior developer CI Games officially announces Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 on social media. CI Games released Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts at the end of 2019, though reviews of the game were not hugely positive. On Twitter, CI Games surprised fans by confirming that Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 would be released in fall 2020 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. No trailer for the game has been revealed and there are no confirmed gameplay details....
Riot Games, the studio behind League of Legends, has lost a lawsuit in Dutch courts against former pro soccer player Edgar Davids. Davids sued Riot Games in his home country of the Netherlands for using his likeness in one of the MOBA’s premium skins. The Striker Lucian skin was part of a group of five soccer-themed skins Riot released in June 2014 to celebrate the year’s World Cup. According to the lawsuit, Riot claimed that the similarities between Davids and the Striker Lucian skin were not significant....
Call of Duty: Warzone is a massive game with plenty of moving pieces for the developers to manage, with the Ghost perk being one of the hardest to get right. The listing in question was brought to attention by Nintendo Life and can be viewed yourself by visiting the website’s “More Projects” page. As seen in the “Games” column on the far left, Sonic Colours Remaster sits right at the top of the pile of localizations from 2020....
Our quick take Sony Cyber-shot RX1 - 4.0 / 5 Design Performance Image Quality To recap Yes it’s a lot of money, but the RX1 does feel like a special camera. The pairing of an excellent full-frame sensor with a superb and sharp f/2.0 lens makes for top-notch image quality, only really let down by some chromatic aberrations in images. There are a couple of other glitches in the shape of autofocus speed and battery life length, but even so there’s still that certain something about the RX1....
Right up there with Uncharted and God of War, serious racing sim Gran Turismo is one of PlayStation’s most important and iconic franchises. Unfortunately, the last game in the franchise, Gran Turismo 6, was released on PS3 a month after the PS4 was already available - a move that disappointed many PlayStation fans. On the bright side, Gran Turismo 7 is in the works for PS4, though the game is unlikely to be released before 2017....
It goes without saying that The Last Guardian, the highly anticipated next art piece from developer Team Ico, is in a state of flux. After it was rumored that Creative Director Fumito Ueda left Sony it was assumed that it would be all downhill from here, but since then we’ve learned quite a few details that contradict that fact.
