Later this month, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road To Boruto will debut on Nintendo’s hybrid console, making it the latest in a string of anime titles to be ported to the platform. Earlier this year it was revealed that the BBC would be making a film about Grand Theft Auto. The film is part of the BBC’s ‘Make It Digital’ initiative (which looks to get young people involved in technology) so it won’t cover the many criminal exploits of the series’ in-game protagonists. In the world of video games, timing can be everything. Resident Evil 2 being on PC means that the critically-acclaimed survival-horror game is getting all sorts of mods released for it. One of the latest adds Captain Marvel to the game, swapping out Claire Redfield for Marvel’s extremely powerful heroine. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear as though the Captain Marvel mod includes any of the character’s various powers. Capcom announced that the upcoming Resident Evil 2 remake will be available in two versions in Japan, a standard version and a “Z Version”. The standard version of Resident Evil 2, called Biohazard RE:2 in Japan, will come with a CERO D rating that is restricted to those seventeen years or older. The other, more mature version, titled Bioharard RE: 2 Z Version, is more suitable for adults, and will have a CERO Z rating, which is intended for the 18+ audience....

Despite Resident Evil 3 not having a giant open-world to roam around, the remade version of Raccoon City still includes plenty of things to find. There are easter eggs, weapons, upgrades, files, and of course, Charlie Dolls. Those last ones are the most unusual, as the wholesome bobbleheads contrast with the dark and scary city. Yet, it still doesn’t make them stick out too much, as the little guys are tricky to find....

The original Resident Evil was a success not because of its gunplay, but how it incentivized players to engage with the Mansion around them – charting out routes, planning which enemies to kill or spare, and making hard choices through inventory management. Resident Evil is at its best when it slows down to let the audience survive a horror house through their own wits....

Resident Evil Village has received some pretty terrifying new screenshots. Village was unveiled during the PS5 showcase in June to much fanfare. ike Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, the game is played from a first-person perspective. Unlike that game or the rest of the series, though, Village will feature horrifying werewolf-adjacent enemies to deal with. Based on key art, it appears even Chris may have a werewolf form.
