A new Square Enix patent could be pointing at the developer working on a new form of gun heavy combat for players to interact with in a future title. It isn’t exactly clear what game this innovation on the mechanic would be used for, though Square Enix has worked on a number of different shooters in the past, if not as developer then as a producer like for the upcoming title Outriders....

Several weeks ago, Capcom revealed that the highly-anticipated remake of Resident Evil 3 will be getting a playable demo similar to Resident Evil 2 and 7. However, while the initial announcement did excite fans who are patiently waiting for the game, Capcom did not reveal when the demo is releasing until now. In a short preview clip, Capcom finally unveiled the release date of Resident Evil 3’s demo, which will fall on March 19 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC....
Resident Evil 7 uses VHS tapes to show players flashbacks that will flesh out the story, in addition to providing clues to solve some of the game’s puzzles. It’s no secret that Resident Evil VII marks a significant departure from franchise norms with its first-person perspective, virtual reality functionality, and renewed focus on exploration and horror. In many ways, Resident Evil VII comes across as an experimental project for Capcom, which has seen the company try innovative through new things within the entry that the franchise has never done before....
This Rick and Morty review contains spoilers. Rick and Morty Season 3 Episode 6 Season three is officially knocking it out of the park. This is another fantastic episode. It takes one of the most tried and true fiction plots out there and somehow takes it in wholly unexpected directions, plunging the depths of the characters’ psyches and cranking out top-notch jokes all along the way. The premise here is Rick and Morty go on an emotionally-scarring adventure (Morty’s wailing actually made me feel for the little guy), so they decide to go for a (sci-fi) spa day....

Not too long ago, Sega was forced to shut down its Akihabara arcade, one of the most famous gaming establishments in the district, most likely due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. That was already a sad day for arcade enthusiasts, but things have unfortunately gotten worse, as Sega has announced that it is withdrawing from the arcade business entirely. To be more specific, Sega Sammy, the company that owns Sega after it and pachinko manufacturer Sammy merged in 2004, reported a decline in visitors and business at its arcades, resulting in a “significant loss” for the company....
